CHARGING

The unit is shipped with the power switch in the “OFF” position. Locate the on/off switch on the solar  panel and slide it into the “ON” position.
NOTE: Slide switch into the “ON” position and place solar panel in the sun for at least 8 hours, The Watering Can will light automatically at night.

OPERATION

  1. Slide the switch to “ON” position.

  2. This product will perform best if installed in a location that gets direct sunlight. (The solar panel will perform optimally if it receives 8 hours of direct sunlight per day.)

  3. Keep the solar panel away from any light source at night if you want to enjoy its light.
    NOTE: The CUPRESSUS won’t be turned on automatically at night if it is close to other light sources such as porch lights, landscape lights, street lights, etc.

  4. It can last up to 6-8 hours when fully charged and can be used indoors and outdoors.
    NOTE: The duration of light depends on the geographic location, weather and the time of being exposed to sunlight.

TOUBLESHOOTING

  1. If your CUPRESSUS does not turn on, check the followings:
  2. The battery may not be fully charged – place in direct sunlight for 8 hours.
  3. Make sure the “ON/OFF” button of the solar panel is in the “ON” position.
  4. Make sure no other light sources are preventing the LED from automatically illuminating.
  5. Keep the solar panel of the Watering Can clean.

If CUPRESSUS does not light up after using 8-12 months, replace the rechargeable batteries. (1.2V Rechargeable Ni-MH AA Battery x 1 – ONLY USE THE SAME TYPE OF BATTERY!)

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Step 1: Unscrew the battery compartment cover by using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included).
The battery compartment is located under the solar panel.
Step 2: Remove the exhausted battery and install 1 pc new 1.2V rechargeable Ni-MH AA battery.
Open the compartment carefully in order to ensure that welding wires of the battery terminals are  intact.
Step 3: Screw the battery compartment cover back and make sure it is installed securely.

A BATTERY WARNING

  1. Battery must be recycled or disposed properly.
  2. Do not dispose battery near fire or put it into trash directly.
  3. Remove the battery from Watering Can if don’t use it for a long time.
  4. Removal and replacement of the battery should be carried out by an adult or under adult supervision

This label means that the product cannot be disposed of as other household waste throughout the EU. To prevent potential damage tothe environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal. Recycle responsibly to promote the sustainable use of material resources. If youwant to return a used device, use the drop-off and collection system, or contact the retailer from whom you bought the product. The retailer can accept the product for environmentally safe recycling.
