Software Settings
Settings
Navigation Path Setting
If you are pressing the navigation application on the home screen and it does
not appear to launch, then you will need to set the Navi path.
Set path as follows:
Settings-NaviConfig- icon-Resident Flash- EU/ US- PRIMO (NAVl).EXE-
- Double Click the Resident folder and any other folders until you find the PRIMO.EXE or NAVI.EXE file, double click the PRIMO.EXE or NAVI.EXE file to select it (if you have world maps edition with sdcard then you can select the sdcard folder-SDMMC) double click it to select.
- (Note] If you select the “Auto run navigation software on startup”, the machine will automatically enter the map when it is turned on. If you want to cancel this function, please exit the map after booting, and then cancel the function.
GPS Info
If it can’t find the signal, please reset the GPS information. In application menu go to Tools-GPS Info. Until at least 3 green bar channels are displayed. It usually takes 5-20 minutes to complete.
Many factors such as high, dense buildings (in the tunnel, between the high building, underground parking, under the trestle), various weather condition, and closure of the satellite will affect receive signal and result in inaccurate position, inefficiency of navigation operation. Please go to the outside area to receive the signal and don’ t search for signals indoors.- FM Function
The FM function can be used to play sound from the device to your vehicle’s stereo, follow steps below if you wish to use this feature. The FM setting must be in the off position if not use, or GPS sound will be muted.
- Locate an empty station on your vehicles FM frequency band, this frequency will be used to sync with your device.
- On the device home screen go to the FM Settings and change the frequency to match the frequency on the vehicles FM frequency band.
- Next, please make sure the FM setting is turned on by clicking and check marking the Use FM box.
- The sound from the GPS should now play through your vehicle’s stereo.
Navigation Menu
Navigation Menu interface is as follows:
You have the following
options:
- Click ” Destination icon ” to select your destination by entering an address or selecting a place of interest, a location on the map or one of your favorite destination. You can also look up your recent destinations from the Smart History or by entering its coordinate. Note Find setting may also be called Destination.
- Click “Route Options icon” to display the route parameters. You can view the route in its full length on the map. You can also perform route related actions such as editing or canceling your route, setting a start point for the route, picking route alternatives, avoiding parts of the route, simulating navigation or adding the destination to your Favorites.
- Click” More icon ” to use some extra function.
- Click ” Show Map ” to start navigating.
- Click to stop navigation and exit the software.
- Click to set navigation, meaning “Settings”.
Find Menu
In the Navigation menu, tap ” Destination icon
” to provide you with the following options:
- Tap ” Find Address icon ” to specify an address as your destination.
- Tap ” Find Places icon ” to select a place of interest as your destination. Such as Petrol Station, Parking, Restaurant, Accommodation and so on.
- Tap ” Find on Map icon ” to navigate to a location selected on the map.
- Tap ” Favorites icon ” to choose from the list of your favorite destinations.
- Tap ” folder 1″ or” folder 2 ” to navigate to the recent destination that is shown on the button.
- Tap ” History folder” to choose from the list of all recent destinations.
- Tap ” More icon ” for the search method-Coordinate.
Navigating to an Address
In the Navigation menu, tap ” Destination icon ” then tap ” Find address
icon ” . If a GPS signal is present the screen proposes the city or town where
you are located, if not it may be blank.
If needed, change the country. Tap the button showing the name of the country.
- Use the keyboard to enter the name of the country.
- After entering a couple of characters, the list of countries that match the entered string appears. Tap the country of your choice.
If needed, change the city/town. Tap the button showing the name of the city/town, and use the keyboard to enter a part of its name. As you enter letters, the most likely city/town name is always shown in the input field.
Enter by Postcode
You can enter the destination by postcode in
the city field. Enter a space between the postcodes or it may not continue
i.e. 90001 in the United States, BH13_7HF in the United Kingdom. You have the
following options:
- Tap to select the city/town that is offered in the input filed.
- Tap to correct your entry.
- Tap to browse the list of city/town names matching your input. Select a city/town from the list.
Navigation Settings Menu
In the Navigation menu, tap .The Settings menu
provides you with the following options (scroll the list of see all):

the function can be set to read out traffic, route summary, country Info and system messages. -
Speed Warnings Setting
You can set the warn when speed in audio or visual. Warn when my speed is 100% of limit. It is recommended to set it to 100%. -
Language Settings
In navigation mode, You can set the voice language and program language. Voice Language Setting Steps: Settings-Sound and Warnings-Voice Language.
Program Language Setting Steps: Settings-Regional-Program Language.
Vehicle Settings
In navigation mode, go to Settings-Route Settings Vehicle. There are 7 types
of Vehicle: Car, Pedestrian, Bicycle, Emergency, Bus, Taxi, Truck. For
motorhome select the vehicle type as truck and set the dimensions for the
motorhome.
If you have a truck or RV, please set the vehicle type first, and then enter
the size and load of the truck. “confirm Parameters for Each Route Planning”
need to be checked.

Visual Guidance Settings
Setting steps: Settings-Visual Guidance Settings Data Fields. Choose the 3
data fields you want from the right. These three data are displayed in the
lower right corner of the navigation route screen.
Units Settings
Setting steps: Settings-Regional-Units and Formats Distance You can set the
unit you want according to your needs: Miles/yards-Kilometers/meters-
Miles/feet 
Time Setting
- To change time in navigation mode, go to Settings-Regional -Time Zone.
- Use Auto Time Zone–The time of the current location. GMT–Set the time in your time zone.
