uniform?

The mat is lit by an optical fiber cable that goes around the mat. The 2 ends of the cable terminate at the connector (where the USB cord starts) where the LEDs are that shines light through the tube. Since the connector is the light source, the light intensity is naturally brighter at this part/area.

How can I clean my Razer Goliathus Chroma Extended mouse mat? Is it safe

to machine wash?

The Razer Goliathus Chroma Extended requires minimum maintenance to keep it in optimum condition. Once a month we recommend you unplug the device from the computer and clean it using a soft wet cloth or cotton swab with a bit of warm water, slowly clean with the gradient to prevent dirt buildup.

CAUTION:

Do not use soap or harsh cleaning agents.
Do not place the mouse mat in the washing machine or clean it under running water.
Do not fold, roll, or compress the mouse mat.

flat out of the box. Is this normal?

Yes, when unboxing your Razer Goliathus Chroma Extended or Chroma Extended for the first time, the mat needs to rest on your desktop surface for a few hours before it fully flattens out. You may place a book or similar flat object on the surface to help it flatten. However, do not place to much weight on the lighting frame.

My Goliathus Extended Chroma mouse mat is looking deformed. How can I

flatten it?

You can flatten your Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma by following these steps:

Press and slide outwards across any deformity.
To further flatten, start from the middle and work outwards.
Keep one hand anchored as the other flattens the light strip.
To flatten, pull the light strip gently towards the corners.
Ensure the stitching is kept in place as you pull the light strip through. Continue this for each side of the mouse mat.

Fixes the issue where certain colors do not display correctly on “Reactive” when clicking on any of the mouse buttons.

Step-by-step Process

Download the latest firmware update by downloading the link found above.
Close Razer Synapse and all other running applications before proceeding with the update.
Run the downloaded firmware (The installer will prompt you to close Synapse and all other applications, If you have already done so, left-click “OK” to proceed).
Connect the device and click “UPDATE”.
Wait for the update to complete.
Once the firmware has been successfully applied, left-click “Close” to exit the installer.
