Razer Mamba + Firefly HyperFlux Support
Common Questions
Can I charge my wireless charging enabled mobile phone on the Razer
Firefly HyperFlux?
The Razer Firefly HyperFlux is designed to directly power HyperFlux enabled devices. As such, it will not charge the battery on your mobile phone. Keep foreign objects off the mouse mat as they may interfere with the magnetic field and power transfer between the mat and the mouse.
Can the mouse be used without the mat?
The mouse can be used in wired mode without the mat. Simply plug out the included cable from the Razer Firefly HyperFlux and insert it into the Razer Mamba HyperFlux. Wireless mode can only be accessed with the included mat.
Can the Razer Mamba HyperFlux and Razer Firefly HyperFlux be purchased
separately?
As the mouse in wireless mode draws its power from the mat, the products are only sold together.
How are the Razer Mamba HyperFlux and Razer Firefly HyperFlux different
from other products that are similar?
The Razer HyperFlux Wireless Technology allows direct wireless power transfer between the mat and the mouse, eliminating the need for a battery. In other products, the mat does not supply enough power to power the mouse directly. Instead, the mat trickle-charges the battery in the mouse, which in turn powers the mouse, incurring a weight penalty.
How do I request or purchase replacement parts for my Razer product?
You can check our complete list of our current spare parts and accessories online, but if the item you need isn’t listed, don’t hesitate to contact our Customer Support team.
What is the difference between the Razer Mamba Wireless and Razer Mamba?
One of the main differences is the Mamba wireless uses an Optical sensor as opposed to the Mamba’s Laser sensor, enabling the Mamba Wireless to track speeds up to 450 inches per second (IPS).
Can wireless power technology be described as inductive power?
Yes. the magnetic field created by the mat induces a current in the mouse which directly powers it without the need for a battery.
Troubleshooting
Cannot register HyperFlux Mamba. What Should I do?
Early production models of the HyperFlux Mamba have incorrect model numbers and can’t be registered for warranty. To register the HyperFlux Mamba, use the serial number on the mouse and use the product code RZ01-02480100-0000.

Hyperflux?

My Razer Mamba Hyperflux does not always light up or turn on, but the
Firefly HyperFlux remains on. How can I fix this?
This could be due to external interference. To help with this issue, adhere to the following tips regarding the placement of your Hyperflux Mat and Mouse:
- Do not place the Razer Firefly HyperFlux Mat on top of any metallic surface or structure.
- Do not place metallic objects, cellphones, charging docks, or wireless charging devices within 20 cm or 8 inches of the Razer Firefly HyperFlux’s surroundings.
- Do not place the Razer Firefly HyperFlux within 1 meter of another Razer Firefly HyperFlux.
- Do not place the Razer Firefly HyperFlux within 1 meter of a Wi-Fi router.
Razer Mamba Hyperflux mouse lighting goes to Sleep Mode after a few
minutes of inactivity.
This is normal behavior, the lighting on the Razer Mamba Hyperflux will turn on again when the mouse is in use.
Hardware
Will the mouse lose power if I lift it off the mat?
The Razer Mamba HyperFlux has a capacitor that will retain power for approximately 5-10 seconds when the mouse is away from the mat, so lifting and repositioning the mouse will not interrupt gameplay.
Software
