USE
The control panel has three power settings: LOW, HIGH, and WARM.
- LOW – This setting creates a gradual build-up of heat. It gently simmers the food for an extended period of time, up to 12 hours. This setting is ideal if you are away from home for the day and wish the food to be ready when you get home.
- HIGH – This setting cooks food quicker as it reaches the maximum temperature much faster. Therefore, it allows you to cook your food twice as fast as on the low setting. It may be necessary to add liquid during the cooking process because the food will boil when on a high setting. This setting is ideal if you want to cook a dish in a shorter period of time.
- NOTE: you can switch between LOW and HIGH during the cooking process if you wish to speed up the cooking.
- WARM – this setting can be used to maintain the temperature of the food after the cooking process is finished. This setting is not suitable for cooking the food, as the temperature is too low.
