BEFORE USE

  1.  Ensure that you are healthy enough to use the ladder. People with certain medical conditions are at risk of falling from the ladder during operation.
  2. Operating the ladder in a fatigued mental or physical state can result in physical injuries.
  3. Always transport the ladder in retracted, compact form to prevent damages.
  4. Confirm the operational quality of the ladder before use.
  5. Do not use a damaged ladder.
  6. The ladder frame can be cleaned with a dry cloth. Spilled paint should be removed from the ladder immediately as dried paint can restrict extension and retraction of the telescoping ladder.
  7. Always open and close the ladder in a slow and careful manner.
  8. Store your ladder indoors to avoid damp conditions which could make the ladder difficult to operate.
  9. The Telescopic Ladder is very portable and should be carried using the grip provided.

EXPANDING THE TELESCOPIC LADDER

  1. Wolfwise Telescopic Ladder - ladderStabilize the ladder with one foot placed on the bottom rung.
  2. Pull up on the coupling of the third rung with both hands, extend the section fully. Thereafter, continue with a section at a time until the ladder is extended to the desired length.
  3. To open the ladder to its full extension, grip the couplings of the top rung with both hands. Extend the top section fully and then continue opening section by section until the ladder is opened to its full length.

NOTE:

  1. Make sure that each section is pulled up to its full extension and is locked, before continuing to the next section. Improper locking can lead to bodily injuries.
  2. Never open the ladder from the top unless extending to its maximum length.

RETRACTING THE TELESCOPIC LADDER

NOTE: Different from extending the ladder, the ladder can only be retracted one section at a time.

  1. Hold the ladder in an upright position. grab the ladder by the couplings of a section and place your thumbs on the locking buttons.
  2. Use your thumbs to unlock both locking buttons simultaneously, or unlock one by one, while the upper section drops down.
  3. Repeat this operation for each section.

Do not place any parts of your body, including hands and fingers, between the rungs when closing the ladder.

POSITIONING AND ERECTING THE LADDER

  1. The ladder is used at an angle of 75 degrees, in relation to the ground.

  2. The ladder must be used on a firm, level, and unmovable surface.

  3. Do not place a box, scaffold, or other unstable objects under the ladder for extra height.

  4. Avoid using the ladder on wet and muddy surfaces unless additional effective measures are taken to prevent the base of the ladder from slipping.

  5. The support that the ladder leans on should be flat and unmovable.

  6. The ladder must not be used in a horizontal position.

  7. Do not carry, operate or use your ladder near electrical wires or equipment. this ladder conducts electricity.

USING THE LADDER

  1.  Always face the ladder during use.

  2. Wear non-slip footwear when using the ladder.

  3. The maximum weight capacity of the ladder is 150kg.

  4. Use both hands to grip the ladder when ascending and descending.

  5. Don’t attempt to extend or retract the ladder while climbing or standing on it.

  6. Don’t stand or climb on the top three rungs of the ladder when fully extended.

  7. Get assistance to hold the ladder for stability if possible.

  8. Place body weight in the middle of the rung to ensure stability.

  9. Equipment carried while using a ladder should be light and easy to handle.

  10. Do not use the ladder as a bridge.

  11.  Ladder height should be at least 1 ‘ meter higher than the landing point when climbing to a higher surface.

  12. Do not use the ladder in rainy or windy environments.
