LED Base User Manual
Operating the 3-LED-bases: Switch on by using the “ON/OFF” button colour cycling starts, e.g. blue, green, red Press “STOP/CHANGE” colour cycling stops Press “STOP/CHANGE” again colour cycling starts again Switch off using the “ON/OFF” button
Operating the 5- and 15-LED-bases:
Switch on by using the “ON/OFF” or the “COLOUR/OFF” button colour cycle A
starts, e.g. blue, green, yellow When pressed again colour cycle B, e.g. red,
orange, blue When pressed again colour cycle C, e.g. orange, green, red When
pressed again colour cycle D, e.g. blue, green, red When pressed again white,
automatic dimming Switch off using the “ON/OFF” button
The colour cycling and the dim function can be stopped at any time by pressing
the second button (“STOP/GO” or “STOP/CHANGE”) once. Pressing again will start
the colour cycling or dim function.
Usage:
The LED base is powered by 3 batteries or a power supply (not included in the
delivery!) with 4.5 V direct current (DC). Please only use standard 1.5 V AAA
batteries for the 3 and 5 LED bases. The 15 LED base requires three 1.5 V AA
batteries.
Prior to first operation, please remove the contact breaker strips
between the batteries and contacts. We recommend that you pull the black
protective cap between the on and off switches out of the base somewhat.
To change the batteries, open the battery cover and insert the batteries as indicated. When using a power supply the batteries can remain in the device. Please remove the black protective cap between the on and off switches and then connect the jack of the power supply to the device between the two buttons, before connecting to the mains.
Warning:
Keep the LED base away from humidity and liquids. Do not immerse the LED base in water. The LED base is not suitable for use outdoors. Keep the LED base, its individual components and packaging, in particular plastic bags, away from small children there is a danger of suffocation! Do not shine the LEDs directly into your eyes it may cause permanent damage to your eyes!
If you place, for example, a glass ball over an LED, please do not expose the glass ball and base to direct sunlight under certain circumstances, the glass ball may act as a burning glass and may set the base or other objects nearby on fire.
Please note: this LED base is not a toy.
Disposal:
Please do not throw the LED base or the batteries within into your household
waste. Make an enquiry into appropriate environmentally friendly disposal in
your town or with your local authority. The packaging can be recycled in your
local recycling bins.
With improper use, acid could potentially leak out of the batteries, which
would result in an increased risk of injury!
