Make sure the brush button is turned to the “On” position

With the machine unplugged, turn the machine over so brush is facing up
-
Remove the 6 screws that hold on the Brush Access Plate
-
Check the brush and belt for damage
- The brush should easily spin by hand
- The belt should be intact
- If part is damaged, it will need to be replaced
-
Pull the brush up and out of the machine and clean any debris off of it
-
To place the belt on the brush, wrap the belt around the belt guard grove on the brush roll and pull the belt back to the motor pulley
-
Pull the brush and place it back in the machine ensuring the brush end caps are in their corresponding slots

Spin the brush by hand to center the belt and reattach Brush Access Plate

If the brush continues not to spin, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
