- Empty dirt container by sliding the lever to the “unlock” position and pulling dirt container straight out from vacuum
- Twist inner cyclone in upper tank to the left to remove
- Inner cyclone can be washed using water and mild detergent
- Allow to dry completely before reinserting in machine
- Wipe out the inside of upper tank with a damp cloth and allow to completely dry
- Remove the pre-motor filter from slide out tray under dirt container and hand wash in water with mild detergent
- Allow to completely air dry (24-48 hrs.) before reinserting in machine
- Remove the post-motor filter behind the door on side of vacuum
- If filter becomes dirty, it will need to be replaced
- Reassemble all parts of vacuum
- Check for good suction at the end of the upholstery hose
- If no suction, remove hose from back of machine by twisting to the left
- Run broom stick through hose to remove any clogs
- Hose will need to be replaced if cracked or damaged
- Check back of machine for suction where hose connects
- If there is no suction here, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
- Remove the screw from the left side of the lower hose on back of the unit and straighten this section of hose by pulling it down
- Push a broomstick through the lower hose to remove any clogs
- The access plate can be removed to help clear the clog
- Make sure the hose is firmly connected to the lower hose on back of vacuum
- Twist inner cyclone in upper tank to the left to remove
If still no suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
