Make sure the foot and hand vac are fully inserted into the body of the machine

Detach the hand vac from the body of the machine

Remove dirt container from hand vac

Power the machine on and check for suction at the circular motor duct

If no suction at the motor duct, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us

Empty the dirt cup
- Press button to release from machine
-
Clean the filters
- Pull out the separator which contains the filters from the middle of the dirt cup

Pull out white pleated filter and tap over garbage to clear any debris
- This filter is NOT washable

Pull out the black foam filter located underneath the white pleated filter and clear any debris
- It may be washed
- Must air dry completely before replacing into machine

If you clean with this machine frequently, the filters may need to be replaced

With the hand vac removed, turn the power on and check for suction at the nozzle
- If there is no suction, check to see if the nozzle is clogged – remove obstructions and check for suction again

Remove foot assembly and check for clogs

If there is still no suction, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us

Blowing Dust

Make sure dirt cup is properly attached to the hand vac
- They should click into place
- The dirt cup should have no space between where the dirt cup meets the battery pack

Make sure both filters are installed correctly into the debris bin cup
- The foam filter goes underneath white pleated filter
