Pull out the Pre-Motor Filter Tray located below the dirt tank and wash the Filter with water and a mild detergent

Let it completely air dry before placing back in the machine

Remove the Upholstery Hose from the back of the vacuum by unwrapping the hose and twisting it to the right to unlock and pull out bottom from lower hose
- Push a broom handle through hose to remove any clogs

Turn on machine and feel for suction from the hose inlet with hose removed
- If there is no suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us

Remove the lower hose screw on the left of the lower hose
- Bend hose parallel to foot and push a broom handle through lower hose to remove any clogs

Unplug the vacuum and turn the vacuum over so the Brush Roll is facing up

Remove the 7 screws that hold on the Brush Roll Access plate
-
Pull brush straight out and inspect the brush and belt for damage
- Brush should spin easily
- Belt should be intact
- If part is damaged, it will need to be replaced

Clear brush, brush ends, and brush housing of any debris

If the vacuum continues to not have suction, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
