Unplug machine
-
Empty dirt container by sliding the Lock ‘n Seal Lever to the unlock position
- Pull dirt container straight out of machine

Take out inner cyclone from upper tank by twisting to the left and pulling down
- The cyclone may be washed with a mild detergent
- Allow to air dry completely (24-48 hours) before replacing in machine

Remove foam pre-motor filter located in slide out tray below dirt container
- Clean with water and mild detergent
- Allow to air dry completely (24-48 hours) before replacing in machine

Take out white pleated post-motor filter located beneath foam filter
- Post-motor filter is NOT washable and must be replaced when dirty

Separate the upholstery hose from where it meets back of machine by twisting to the left and pull out of lower hose
- Run a broom handle through hose to remove any clogs
- If hose is cracked or damaged, a new one will be needed

Take out 2 screws from left side of lower hose on the back of machine
- Straighten this section of hose and run a broom handle through the lower hose to remove any clogs

Reinstall screws on lower hose and return upholstery hose to machine
- Upholstery hose should be firmly connected into lower hose

If machine still does not have suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
