  • Unplug Machine

    • Remove Clean Water Tank on back of machine

      • Check for cracks, leaks or deformation on tank
      • If tank is damaged, a new tank should be ordered
    • Fill Up Clean Water Tank with Tap Water

      • Clean Tank Cap may drip a few times when removed, this is normal
    • Firmly push the full tank back onto the machine and leave NO gaps between tank and body of machine

    • Remove and Empty Dirty Water Tank following these steps

      • Check the Dirty Water Tank for any cracks or damage
      • If the Dirty Water Tank is damaged a new one should be ordered
      • Check if the float is able to move up and down freely
      • Check that the removable filter in the dirty water tank lid is in place
    • Remove brush window by pulling tab upward

      • Examine for cracks, if a crack is found, a new one needs to be ordered
      • Reattach the brush roll window by lining up the tabs on the front edges of the foot
      • Fold the window down into place until it clicks
    • Plug machine in and test for leaks

    • Be sure to use the recommended amount of formula as indicated on the clean tank

      • Also be sure to use the proper BISSELL formula
