IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and cable out of reach of children under 8 years.
Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins, or other vessels containing water. -
When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.

For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom*.

Currently, the fitting in a bathroom of an electrical socket suitable or capable of operating the appliance is not permitted in the UK (see BS7671).
- Burn hazard. Keep the appliance out of reach from young children, particularly during use and while cooling down.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to the power supply.
- Always place the appliance with its stand, if any, on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface.
- If the supply cord of this unit becomes damaged, discontinue use immediately and return the appliance to your nearest authorized Remington® service dealer for repair or replacement in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not allow any part of the appliance to touch the face, neck, or scalp.
- Keep the power plug and cord away from heated surfaces.
- Do not use attachments other than those we supply.
- Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctions.
- Do not twist or kink the cable, or wrap it around the appliance. Check the cord regularly for any signs of damage.
- This appliance is not intended for commercial or salon use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Wash and condition your hair as normal.
- Squeeze out excess moisture with a towel and comb through.
- Select your attachment before you turn on the appliance.
To Secure Attachments to the Handle

Align the arrow symbols ( ) on the attachment locking ring with the centre of the channels around the edge of the power handle locking ring and push them together.

Turn the attachment locking ring firmly clockwise in the direction of the locking arrow ( ) to secure the power handle and the attachment together.

Dry length and roots partially prior to styling.
Tip: for best results aim for 80% dry hair. -
Section the hair prior to styling. Style the lower layers first.

Plug the product into the mains power supply

Start styling on lower temperature first. Select the appropriate temperature for your hair type using the temperature setting switch on the base of th styler.

To increase the temperature turn the temperature setting switch to position ‘1’ for low heat, ‘2’ for high heat and position ‘C’ for the cool setting.
NOTE: The Brush attachments will only start rotating when a temperature setting has been selected.
Volume and Shape using the 40mm and 50mm brushes

The 50mm mixed bristle brush adds volume and fullness and is ideal for mid to long hair.

The 40mm soft bristle brush adds root volume, creates polished ends and loose curls.
Ideal for shorter, fine hair. -
To use the rotating function, press the right arrow ( ) on the 2-way rotation switch for the brush to rotate clockwise.

Wrap the bottom of the hair around the brush
-
Press the left arrow on the 2-way rotation switch ( ) to wind hair around the brush, stopping at the roots.

Press the opposite arrow on the 2-way rotation switch to unwind.
-
Let the attachments cool before removing them.
Root volume using the root boost attachment
- Push the root boost slowly into your roots towards the centre of your head.
- Allow the hair to push against the root boost and hold the root boost there for up to 10 seconds.
- Repeat until you have voluminous hair.
- To set your style, use the cool shot setting, turn the temperature setting switch to position ‘C’ whilst styling.
- Let the attachment cool before removing it.
To remove attachments
- After use, turn the appliance off by turning the temperature setting switch to the far left and ‘0’ position and unplug.
- To remove attachments, turn the attachment locking ring anti-clockwise in the direction of the unlock arrow ( ) and pull the attachment away from the main housing.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool.
- Wipe all the surfaces with a damp cloth.
- Don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
