Learn About Your Weego OBDII 12V Memory Saver!

When you remove or disconnect the battery from your vehicle, the electronics lose their saved settings. The Weego Memory Saver allows you to change your battery without losing or resetting anything!

  1. Read vehicle’s owner’s manual: The vehicle manufacturer may have specification cautions and instructions about replacing your vehicle battery. It will also show you how to locate your vehicle’s OBDII port.
  2. Turn off all electronics in your vehicle (air conditioner, heat, radio, lights, chargers, etc) to prevent any damage to your Weego Memory Saver.
  3. Make sure your vehicle has been off for at least 20 minutes before using your Memory Saver – this is how long it takes for your computer to fully shut down.

Ready, Get Set, Weego!

  1. Connect your Memory Saver cable into your vehicle’s OBDII port.

  2. Connect the other end of the Memory Saver cable into the 12V/10A port on your Weego Jump Starter Battery+.

  3. Power ON your Weego.
    You should see the Red LED Indicator Light on your Memory Saver illuminate, indicating a good connection.

  4. You may now disconnect the vehicle’s battery.

  5.  After the new battery is installed, disconnect the Memory Saver from your Weego, then disconnect the Memory Saver from your vehicle.

Warnings

  1. DO NOT start your vehicle while your Weego is connected to your vehicle through the Memory Saver.
  2. Keep your Memory Saver clean and wipe with a dry cloth after each use.
  3. When you disconnect your vehicle’s battery, the battery connector cables are still live and will receive some power from your Weego. Please take caution and do not let them touch one another, or any conductive material, during that time.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS: PARIS CORPORATION (“Paris”) sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 24 months from the date of original purchase, except as noted below.
This warranty extends only to consumers and specifically does not extend to Retailers, sellers or their agents or employees. Paris does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate Paris in  any way beyond the terms set forth herein.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; alteration to the product; attachment of any unauthorized accessory; improper use of an electrical/power supply that causes malfunction; loss of power; dropped or crushed product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from a failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance; tampering with or attempt to modify the product; unauthorized opening of the product; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of Paris.

This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adaptations to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved, and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.

This warranty does not extend to the purchase of opened, used, repaired, repackaged, and/or resealed products, including but not limited to the sale of such products on Internet auction sites and/or sales of such products by surplus or bulk resellers. Any and all warranties or guarantees shall immediately cease and terminate as to any products or parts thereof which are repaired, replaced, altered, or modified, without the prior express and written consent of Paris.

Paris shall not in any way be liable to you or any third party for any damages you or any third party may suffer as a result of use, intended or unintended, or misuse of this product in conjunction with any device, equipment, or accessory other than the appropriate device or equipment for which this product is designed. Paris will not be responsible for any damages you or any third party may suffer as a result of misuse of this product outlined above. If you are responsible for this product’s use with any unintended device and damages resulting from such use, you agree to indemnify Paris for any resulting injuries to any third parties.

WHAT WE WILL DO TO CORRECT DEFECTIVE PRODUCT: If Paris determines that a returned product has a defect in manufacture or workmanship under normal use, Paris will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective part or parts, or if necessary, provide a like or comparable product from its product line. Paris will repair or replace the defective product free of charge and return the product to the stated consumer’s US address only, free of charge. If replacement parts for defective materials are not available, Paris reserves the right to make comparable product substitutions in lieu of repair or replacement. No refunds will be given. If Paris determines that the product is not defective, it will return the product to the consumer at the consumer’s expense.

Do not return products for warranty service to your Retailer. The Specialist will provide direction on how to return the defective product for service.
Paris must be notified of the claim within the warranty period and in writing. Paris must receive the product within 10 days after the consumer notified Paris of a possible claim.
REMEDIES: The warranty provided herein shall be the sole and exclusive warranty. There shall be no other warranties express or implied, or any other obligation on the part of the company with respect to products covered by this warranty. Paris shall have no liability for any incidental, consequential, or special damages. In no event shall this warranty require more than the repair or replacement of any part or parts which are found to be defective within the effective period of the warranty.
HOW STATE LAW MAY RELATE TO THE WARRANTY: This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have additional rights which may vary from state to state. Because of individual regulations, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
