Pairing
Pairing is the initial setup process of your Leaf. This step will assign the
Leaf to your account and make it possible for you to sync the data to your
Bellabeat app.
To pair your Leaf, open the Bellabeat app and press the “Get started” button.
Create an account by using Facebook, or by creating a Bellabeat account using
your email address. Make sure to check if you have made any typos in your
email and correct them before moving to the next step.
Choose the device you are pairing and
follow the on-screen instructions.
Make sure to tap your Leaf firmly when the app asks you to.
Once your Leaf is paired, it will show up in your Bellabeat app’s Settings as
Leaf flower name. The flower name is automatically generated, so feel free to
change it if you don’t like it. This will not interfere with your Leaf’s
functionality in any way.
When you’ve successfully paired your Leaf, sync it for the first time by
pressing the sync button and tapping your Leaf. You must wear the Leaf, tap to
sync, and view your daily stats.
Sync
Every time that you wish to see new data in your Bellabeat app, you will need to manually sync your Leaf. This is done by pressing the sync button in the Bellabeat app and tapping your Leaf. Once the sync is finished, your new data will be displayed on the app’s home screen.
The Leaf will not sync your data to the app automatically and you will need to sync it this way every time that you wish to see new data. In case you forget to sync it for a few days, that is perfectly fine, as the Leaf will store up to 14 days worth of data on itself.
Setting goals & placement
In order to get the most out of Leaf, it is important to set your goals and your Leaf’s placement in the Bellabeat app.
You can set your activity, sleep, and meditation goals in your Bellabeat app’s Settings under Goals, and your Leaf’s placement in the app’s Settings > Leaf name, under Placement
When you set the
placement, make sure to sync your Leaf to transfer these new settings to the
Leaf itself. Only then will your Leaf adjust its activity and sleep tracking
