Thanks for purchasing our non-contact infrared thermometer.
This product is a non-contact remote infrared electronic thermometer that
professionally measures the temperature of the human body. It is easy to use,
not only has the display backlight reading function but also has mode
selection, memory reading, time display, automatic shutdown and other
functions. The normal temperature under the armpit is on average 36-37
degrees, the oral cavity temperature is 0.2-0.4 degrees higher, the rectal and
anal temperature is 0.2-0.5 degrees higher than the oral cavity, and the human
body temperature is relatively stable. The body temperature of normal people
fluctuates slightly within 24 hours. The difference is not more than 1 degree.
Under physiological conditions, breakfast is slightly lower, the afternoon is
slightly higher, exercise, eating, woman’s temperature before menstruation or
pregnancy is slightly higher, and the elderly body temperature is higher, the
body temperature is higher than normal temperature is called fever, 37.5-38
The degree is low fever, 38-39 is moderate fever, 39-40 degrees is high fever
(high fever), and above 40 degrees is super high fever. (Reminder) The
temperature of the forehead is lower than the temperature of the armpit
(0.2-0.5 C ). The temperature measured by this infrared thermome-ter should be
increased (0.2-0.5 C ). Since the temperature of an infant’s skin varies with
surrounding temperature to some extent, please don’t take the temperature of a
baby when she is get feeding or soon after that.
Be sure to read the instruction manual before using this product and retain it
well for future reference.

3. Major parts of the product
This product consists of a shell, temperature sensor, control circuit,
LCD display, (optional LED backlight), and buzzer.
4. Basic principle behind product
In nature, any object of which temperature is higher than the absolute 0
degrees (-273 °C) will radiate infrared ray, and the energy of the infrared
ray will increase as the temperature rises. Based o such correlation, people
can calculate the temperature value of an object as the intensity of infrared
rays from it has been accurately measured
5. Product structure descriptions.

Operations
8.1 Measure body/surface temperature
- Press the Measure button to turn it on, with all icons on the screen. The display will ring “tick”, tick before initialization, then it is ready;
- Make sure the working model of the device is Body temperature mode instead of surface temperature mode, press the Setting button to change surface or body;
- Point the thermometer to the center of the human forehead at a straight angle at a distance of 3-5 cm. In about half a second user may hear the sound “tick” and see the temperature value. The measurement is done.
Tips
A. Before or after using the device, be sure to keep the sensor and probe
clean;
B. Use the thermometer in an environment with a constant temperature. In the
case that the ambient temperature changes apparently (from the Inside room to
the outside), place it for about half an hour before starting measurement;
C. Do not use the device to measure the body temperature soon after exposing
it to extremely high or low temperatures. Start measurement about 10 minutes.
D. In the case that the object under test comes from where the temperature is
quite different from that of the surroundings where the measurement will be
undertaken, let he or it stay in the current environment for at least half an
hour before the measurement;
E. Try to avoid using the unit on the forehead that is sweating, wet, covered
with cosmetics, and facing towards a fan. Don’t take temperatures within 30
minutes after sports, bath or meal.
8.2 Measure surface temperature
- Press the Measure button to enable the device and get ready for measurement.
- Make sure the working mode displayed on the upper screen is Surface temperature mode instead of Body temperature mode, press the Setting button to change the surface or body.
- Point the thermometer straight to the object under test at a distance of 3-5 cm. Press the Measure button, and in about half a second you will hear the sound “tick” with the reading displayed and the measurement is finished.
Tips
A. The temperature here refers to only the surface temperature of the
surface under test, not its core temperature;
B. The infrared ray radiation rate of different materials varies, which may
affect the measurement results. The defaulted radiation rate of this device is
0.95. For example, the measured temperature of stainless steel may be much
lower than the actual temperature. Therefore, take care to prevent from
getting burned in such case.
Tips
When the ambient temperature is lower than 15 ° C or higher than 40 ° C,
measurement is not allowed, “LO” or “Hi” are displayed and shut down.
