QUICK REFERENCE
- AM/PM indicator – On in Clock mode. Indicates morning or afternoon in 12-hour Clock mode.
- Count-up indicator – On in Count-up mode. Flashes when counting up if in Clock or Timer mode.
- Timer indicator – On in Timer mode. Flashes when counting up if in Clock or Timer mode.
- Clock/Count-up/Timer display – Shows hours, minutes, and seconds in Clock mode, Count-up mode, and timer mode.
- Time’s Up indicator – In Timer mode, flashes with alarm to indicate the time is up.
- Memory indicator – In Timer mode, indicates memory function has been activated.
- Hour, Minute, and Second buttons – Permit separately entering hours, minutes, and seconds in Clock mode, Count-up mode, and Timer mode.
- Memory button – Permits entry and recall of preset time in Timer mode.
- Clear button – In count-up mode and Timer mode, clears entry. When using the Memory function in Timer mode, clears Memory.
- Start/Stop button – Stops and starts counting in Count-up and Timer modes.
- Clock/Count-Up/Timer switch – Selects Clock, Count-up or Timer mode.
OPERATION
Selecting 12- or 24-hour Format
To select between 12- and 24-hour clock formats, slide the CLOCK/COUNT-
UP/TIMER switch to Clock, and press and hold the CLEAR button for 2 seconds
for the required format to appear. The “AM” or “PM” indicator appears when the
12-hour format is selected.
SETTING CLOCK
- Slide the CLOCK/COUNT-UP/TIMER switch to CLOCK.
- Press and hold each of the HR, MIN or SEC buttons to set the desired time.
COUNT-UP
- Slide CLOCK/COUNT-UP/TIMER switch to COUNTUP position.
- Press START to start counting up.
- To temporarily stop timing, press STOP.
- Press START to restart.
- If Count-up is already counting, press START/STOP to stop count-up.
- Press CLEAR to reset the digits to 0:00:00.
SETTING TIMER
- Slide the CLOCK/COUNT-UP/TIMER switch to TIMER
- If Timer is already running, press START/STOP to stop and then CLEAR to clear entry.
- Press and hold each of the HR, MIN, or SEC buttons to set the desired time.
- Press START. The timer will start counting down. When the set time limit is reached the Alarm will sound, the Time’s Up indicator will flash and Timer will count up from “0:00:00” to indicate elapsed time since the alarm sounded. The “TIMER” indicator will flash while in Clock or Count-up mode to indicate the Timer is running.
- To completely or temporarily stop the timing cycle, press STOP. To restart, press START.
- To clear entry, press CLEAR. If Timer is running, press STOP first.
- When in Clock mode or Count-up mode, stop the alarm by pressing STOP.
- To stop the alarm and stop and clear the “TIME’S UP” count up, select Timer mode and press STOP.
MEMORY

Select Timer mode. Press memory to see if an entry is already stored in “MEMORY”, press CLEAR to return the display to “0:00:00”.

If the timer is running, press START/STOP to stop.
Depress each of the HR, MIN, or SEC buttons to set the desired time and press MEMORY to enter the preset time. The MEMORY indicator will only show on the display in Timer mode when the memory button is depressed. -
Press START. The timer will start counting down. When the set time limit is reached the Alarm will sound, the Time’s Up indicator will flash and Timer will count up from “0:00:00” to indicate elapsed time since the alarm sounded.
4. Press START/STOP to stop count-up.
5. Press MEMORY to recall preset time.
6. Press CLEAR to cancel preset time or press START/ STOP to begin the countdown again.
ALL OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES
If this unit does not function properly for any reason, replace the battery
with a new high-quality battery (see Battery Replacement section). Low battery
power can occasionally cause any number of apparent operational difficulties.
Replacing the battery with a new fresh battery will solve most difficulties.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Erratic readings, a faint display, no display, or a battery icon on the
display are all indicators that the battery must be replaced. To replace the
battery, remove the battery cover from the back of the timer. Remove the
battery and replace it with a new AA alkaline battery. Match + and − on the
battery with the same signs on the timer. Replace the battery cover.
