Connections
The INTEGRAL-MC01 transmits analog balanced audio signal by the use of standard microphone cabling. Connect the desktop base to any audio receiver such mixing console, audio matrix or Matrix amplifier (MA models) providing phantom power; for permanent installation is highly recommendable to use this option. A preamplifier is also included in the microphone stand and powered with two AAA batteries (3 Vdc) in case no Phantom source is connected. In this case the microphone can be connected directly to any amplifier (A models).
Connecting the microphone to a receiver providing phantom power:

Connecting the microphone without Phantom power and using the internal
desktop base preamplifier (with batteries):
Shown in the image below an INTEGRAL-MC01 is directly connected to whatever
the INTEGRAL-Axxxx amplifier models. It is necessary to use the preamplifier of
the microphone with the batteries. This solution is not recommended for
permanent use as the batteries will need to be replaced.
Microphone placement
Place the microphone within 15 to 30cm (6 to 12 in.) of the desired audio source.
Aim the microphone towards the desired source, such as the talker. Aim it away from any unwanted source, such as a loudspeaker. The loudspeakers should always avoid facing the microphone, in order to prevent feedback. The speaker system should be in a location that will not be in the walking path of the presenter or easily walked in front of.
When using more than one microphone in order to avoid feedback and phasing problems follow the rule 3:1, the distance from any audio source to the closest microphone has to be at least 3 times less than the distance from the audio source to the other microphones.
