How to Wear

Choose the ear tips that best fit you. The silicone ear tips are best suited for sports and recreation. Foam ear tips must be used for hearing protection. FOR MAXIMUM HEARING PROTECTION, FOAM EAR TIPS MUST BE WORN.

  • Ensure that the earplug labeled “R” is inserted into the right ear and the earplug labeled “L” is inserted into the left ear.
  • Compress the foam before inserting the foam ear tips into your ear canal.
  • Support the earplug in your ear for a few seconds while the foam expands, sealing your ear canal and protecting your hearing.

The NRR calculated from this laboratory-based attenuation data is 25
Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Consult instructions for proper fit. The level
of noise entering a person’s ears when a hearing protector is worn as directed is closely approximated by the difference between the A-weighted environmental noise level and the NRR.

Examples

  1. The environmental noise level as measured at the ear is 91 dB(A).
  2. The NRR is 25 decibels (dB).
  3. The level of noise entering the ear is approximately equal to [91 dB – 25] 66 dB(A).

Tips

  • Before use, please read the manual carefully and keep for future reference.
  • Charge earplugs completely before first use.
  • If the earplugs cannot be found by your device, check the charge level by returning the earplugs to the charging case. Try pairing again when the earplugs are fully charged.

Warnings

  • Never disassemble or modify your earplugs or charging case for any reason.
  • Do not store earplugs or charging cases in extreme temperatures (Below 32ºF or above 110ºF).
  • Recharge fully before use if the earplugs are left unused for over two weeks.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals to clean earplugs or charging cases.
  • Keep earplugs and charging case dry.
  • WARNING: Read all instructions and warnings before using this product; failure to follow warnings may result in serious personal injury, including hearing loss.

CAUTION: For noise environments dominated by frequencies below 500Hz, the C-weighted environment noise level should be used.
Although hearing protectors can be recommended for protection against the harmful effects of impulsive noise, the reduction rating (NRR) is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the protection attainable against impulsive noise such as gunfire.
