Assembly Instructions

To minimize the chance of mistakes, read these instuctions in their entirety prior to beginning assembly.

  • Follow the directions in the instructions manual when assembling the product.
  • Verify the checklist for all listed parts and make sure not to lose any parts before assembling.
  • Use tools suitable for their intended purposes and in a manner compliant with applicable standards.
  • Visually check for problems before turning the power on. Turn the power off in case the robot malfunctions, and re-read the instructions for how to proceed.

APP CODING ROBOT INSTRUCTIONS

How to get the APP:
OPTION 1: Available on Apple APP Store and Google Play Store. Search for “BUDDLETS”, find the APP and download it on your device.
OPTION2: Scan the QR code on the right with your device to download the APP directly.

How to Play!
Turn APP coding robot on, and open the “BUDDLETS” app on your device. If the robot does not connect to the app, double-check that the Bluetooth is activated on your device.

Control the movements of the APP Coding Robot on your device using the digital joysticks.

MODEL 2 CODING

  1. Click the Code” on the Home screen of the APP to enter the Coding screen.

  2. To write code for the App Coding Robot, select the direction of the robot’s movements (Forward, Left Forward, Right Forward, Backward, Right Backward, Left Backward), with the time associated with the movement(.1 second – 5 seconds)

  3. When you have entered the desired commands, click the , your APP Coding Robot will perform your commands.
    a. The App Coding Robot can add up to 20 instructions.

MODEL 3- Voice Command

Voice Command Mode requires a quiet environment.

  1. Click on the button o select the voice command mode.
  2. Recognizable vocabularies include: Start, Forward, Begin, Go, Back, Left, Right, Stop.
  3. Your command will appear on the screen and the Robot will follow your instructions. (If the voice command mode doesn’t work, please ensure the microphone is enabled in your device settings)

Is your robot sluggish?

  • Batteries may be drained. replace batteries.
  • A robot may be assembled incorrectly. reread and check assembly instructions.
  • The wheels may be rotating in opposite directions due to the gearboxes being attached incorrectly re-read and check the assembly instructions
