INSTALLATION

Download the LightCam App from Google Play or the iOS App store.

Follow the in-App directions to create a LightCam account
| Connect
LightCam to Wi-Fi
For quick setup, plug your LightCam into an easy-to-reach outlet using the
outlet/socket adapter. Use the App to connect the LightCam to your Wi-Fi
network. Once connected to Wi-Fi, the LightCam can be unplugged. Don’t worry
it will retain all settings.

Make sure the power is turned off and then insert and screw the LightCam
into your preferred light socket. Use the socket extension if needed. Once
this is done, power on the socket and the LightCam will connect to your Wi-Fi
network.

Now that your LightCam is connected to Wi-FI you can program it using the
App.

SAFETY WARNING: Please adhere to the precautions, warnings, and limitations contained in this document and our online guidelines to avoid personal injury, damage to your LightCam device(s), discomfort, property damage, or any other potential hazards.
CAUTION: Use care and caution when handling your device. You may render
your device inoperable or damaged if you drop, force, disassemble, scrape,
bend, crush, burn, freeze, submerge, or puncture it. Your device is designed
to withstand exposure and normal elements within an enclosed Ilg ht fixture.
IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE COMPLETELY EXPOSED TO THE OUTSIDE ELEMENTS.
Installing your device in a bare, or exposed fixture you VOID ANY and ALL
WARANTIES, you accept by installing your device in an exposed fixture the
risks associated and any damages foreseen or unforeseen. Do not attempt to use
a damaged or broken device.
- Device is not designed to function in an exposed (open) light fixture or light socket. Installing the device in an exposed fixture can expose the user to danger including electric shock, fire, injury or damage to your device or other property.
- As with all lights, the device should only be Installed In a well ventilated and fulling operational light socket. YOU SHOULD NEVER ATTEMPT TO USE THE DEVICE IN A DAMGED, OR DEFECTIVE LIGHT SOCKET. THIS CAN LEAD TO INJURY, SHOCK, FIRE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR EVEN DEATH.
- Maintain a distance of at least 20 cm/8 inches from your body. (North American/European radio frequency exposure requirements.)
LIMITED WARRANTY: This is a “Limited Warranty” which gives you specific legal rights. This Limited Warranty applies only if you purchased you LightCam Omni LightBulb Camera (“Omni, Omni LBC”) in the United States or Canada. If you received the product (device) as a perk, award, prize, give a way, in-kind donation, or any other non-direct purchase, that device is not covered by this warranty. You may also have other rights, which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitation or exclusion under this Limited Warranty may not apply to you. Please retain your dated sales receipt; it is mandatory for all warranty requests. Any dispute or controversy regarding this Limited Warranty arising from your use of your LightCam products will be resolved by final and binding bilateral arbitration in accordance with the “Dispute Resolution” section of the LightCam Terms of Service.
WARANTY COVERAGE: (THIS IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY) LightCam warrants that a new LightCam Omni LightBulb Camera will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one year in its original packaging. If a manufactures defect covered by this Limited Warranty is discovered, and you return your LightCam Omni LBC during the Limited Warranty Period. The Limited Warranty Period is a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase of your new LightCam devicel, or ninety (90) days from the purchase of a refurbished device, or one (1) year from the date of receipt of your replacement LightCam device (see Section II below for details), LightCam LLC (“LightCam”) will, at its sole option, and to the extent permitted by law repair or replace any LightCam products that malfunction due to defective parts or workmanship at no charge to you. This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original consumer purchaser. Lightcam may, in its sole discretion, make any repair or replacement with new or refurbished product or components. If the product or component requiring repair or replacement is no longer available, LightCam may, in its sole discretion, replace such product with a similar product of similar function. The replacement or repaired LightCam device will continue to be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period. All parts or devices for which you have received replacement become property of LightCam. Repair or replacement my result in loss of data. By submitting a Limited Warranty claim, you acknowledge this risk of data loss and waive all rights and recourse to the data. You acknowledge LightCam has not duty or obligation to inspect, or preserve the data including replacement, reformatting, deletion, or disposal of device memory components. THE LIMITED WARRANTY WRITEN ABOVE IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY LIGHTCAM PROVIDES FOR YOUR OMNI LIGHTBULB CAMERA. The above remedy is your sole and exclusive warranty to the maximum extent permitted by law. LightCam expressly disclaims all other warranties and conditions of any kind including but not limited to statutory and implied warranties arising form course of conduct or otherwise, regarding your LightCam Omni LightBulb Camera. Any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a specific purpose, or non-infringement are limited in duration to the period of the express Limited Warranty above. (One (1) Year for new devices, and ninety (90) days for refurbished devices. Limited to purchased devices only. Does not include any products from the above list of excluded devices)
EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY COVERAGE: This Limited Warranty is only valid and
enforceable where LightCam products and devices are sold and will apply only
if you purchased you LightCam Omni from LightCam or its authorized reseller.
LightCam’s Limited Warranty only covers hardware and does not apply to any
software or firmware elements. This Limited Warranty does not cover damage
caused by: Normal wear and tear, repair service by anyone other than
authorized LightCam technicians, damage due to misuse, disassembly,
alterations, abuse, accidents, negligence or external causes (sharp object
puncture, excessive force, anomalies in electrical current flowing to the
device, extreme weather including thermal extremes, wind, humidity, and
precipitation), casualty (e.g., fire), acts of Man (riots, vandalism,
intentional destruction) or Acts of God (including but not limited to
lightning, flood, tornado, earthquake, or hurricane), and consumable parts are
not covered by this warranty. Damage from unauthorized service or modification
of the product or of any furnished component will void this warranty in its
entirety. This warranty does not include reimbursement for inconvenience,
installation, loss of use, or unauthorized service. In addition, this warranty
does not cover any losses, injuries to persons, loss of property or general
damages. This warranty, our theft protection, and community support services
do not apply to any products purchased from third party sellers whether in
person or in online marketplaces. We strongly suggest that you do not buy
LightCam products from any unauthorized sellers, as such products may be used,
defective,
counterfeit or may not be designed for use in your country. This warranty
covers only LightCam products and is not extended to other equipment,
components, or devices that a customer uses in conjunction with our products.
You expressly agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, LightCam’s
maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase
price of the LightCam product in question.
You expressly understand and agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, LightCam and its subsidiaries, assigns, and affiliates (“LightCam”J shall not be liable to you under any theory of liability (contract, tort(including negligence), breach or failure of any warranty or otherwise) for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages that may be incurred by you in connection with your LightCam Omni Light Bulb Camera or these terms, including any loss of data, property, life, limb, or any and all other losses supposed to be related to use of the Omni LBC whether or not a LightCam party or its representatives have been advised of or should have been aware of the possibility of any such losses arising.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY OR THAT THE PRODUCTS ARE FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE, AND SPECIFICALLY IN LIEU OF ALL SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IF LIGHTCAM LLC CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY AND TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SERVICE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG A STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SHALL BE THE SOLE REMEDY OF THE CUSTOMER AND THERE SHALL BE NO LIABILITY ON THE PART OF LIGHTCAM LLC FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY LOSS OF BUSINESS OR PROFITS, WHETHER OR NOT FORESEEABLE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION AND EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
This limited warranty gives you specific rights. You may have additional rights under applicable law, and this limited warranty does not affect such rights. No vendor, reseller, seller, authorized reseller, contractor, employee, or representative of LightCam or its affiliates or assigns or any other third party is authorized to make any change, modification, extension or addition to this Limited Warranty. If any clause or term of this Limited Warranty is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the remaining terms ofthis Limited Warranty will remain in full force and effect.
THEFT PROTECTION: If your LightCam product is stolen at any time after your purchase, LightCam will replace the stolen device at no charge to you. This theft protection is not transferable and applies only to the original consumer purchaser. Coverage of this theft protection is limited to one (1) replacement only for each LightCam product that you have purchased. Theft protection does not apply to any products purchased from third party sellers in person or in on line marketplaces. Any claim based on theft of your LightCam camera or doorbell product must be submitted within fifteen (15) days of the theft and include the original sales receipt, original packaging and a copy of a police report evidencing that you reported the theft to the police. Failure to report the theft to police voids this theft protection.
GETTING A REPLACEMENT OR SERVICE: To obtain the benefit of the above limited warranty or theft protection, please contact LightCam support at: CustomerHappiness@LightCam.com
FOR WARRANTY REQUESTS: Submit a short note outlining the issue you
encountered, the product you purchased, and proof of that purchase. You will
also be required to return your existing device in accordance with directions
provided by LightCam. LightCam has no warranty obligations with respect any
products that are excluded from warranty as afore mentioned, as reasonably
determined by LightCam, and the owner of such device shall bear all shipping
costs for the return of such to LightCam and the return to product to owner.
Any claim under this Limited Warranty must be submitted to LightCam before the
end of the warranty period described before. Please allow up to fourteen (14)
business days for your warranty request to be processed, please make sure to
retain copies of any and all original(s).
For replacement requests: Submit a short note outlining the product you
purchased that you are replacing, proofof that purchase and a copy of the
police report. Please allow up to fourteen (14) business days for your
replacement to be processed.

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a class B digital device,pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation.
This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequence energy and,if
not installed and used in accordance with the instructions,may cause harmful
interference to radio communications.However,there is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a particular installation.if this equipmemt
does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception,which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on,the user is encouraged to try
to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an autlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Operations in the 5.15-5.25GHz band are restricted to indoors usage only. The product integrates a transmitting antenna and does not allow replacement.
This equipment should be installed and operated with a minumum distance of 20 cm between the radiator and your body.

While t raveling for work years ago I needed a way to keep an eye on my home
and family. After much researching I couldn’t find anything that met my unique
needs, so I set out to create something that would.
Following several years of development, including various patents, I am proud
to present the LightCam Omni. I believe it’s the perfect solution for anyone
looking for a simple way to monitor your home, apartment, condo etc. In
addition, LightCam Omni is easy-to-install, wire-free and only takes minutes
to install.
