Yorkville Sound YSMBT Active Studio Monitor User Guide
Connecting the speakers
Connect the active speaker and passive speaker with the included connecting
cable (red cable to red wire clamp, and black cable to the black).
The monitors have a variety of inputs for use with a multitude of devices.
Soundcards or other devices with RCA line outputs can be connected to the RCA
inputs on your left speaker’s back panel. Professional audio devices with
balanced or unbalanced 1/4-inch outputs should be connected to the 1/4-inch
TRS back panel inputs. If your soundcard or portable music player has an
1/8-inch output, you can connect it to the front panel aux input, using the
provided 1/8-inch to 1/8-inch cable.
Connect to A.C. Power Outlet
Please connect the A.C. power plug to the correct A.C. voltage outlet. Before
connecting power, please
make sure that the On/Off switch on the back is set to the off position.
Bluetooth Pairing
Perform the following steps to pair your mobile device with the speakers.

Flip the Power Switch on the real panel of the Master Speaker to the ON position. The LED Power indicator on the front panel is on blue.

Press for 3 seconds the Bluetooth Pairing Button on the rear panel of the Master Speaker. The
LED indicator on the front panel will begin flashing, indicating that the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode. -
Open the Bluetooth setting on your mobile device, then scan for nearby Bluetooth devices.

Locate and select the YSM3BT entry. The LED indicator will remain illuminated is on white. Indicating that the Bluetooth connection has been successfully made.
Note that the output of the speakers is the sum of all inputs. Unless you specifically want to listen to a mix of different sources, only one audio input should be in active use at a time.
