Rear Flush Mount Instructions
– Drill a 1 yr (30mm) diameter hole.
– There are two grommets remove one and leave one in place.
– Feed the wires and the threaded portion through the hole, place on the
second grommet, and screw the nut back Into place until tightly Installed
– The orientation of the unit can be adjusted in either of the mounting
positions simply by loosening the unit at the back and rotating the device.
Note
– Never attempt to open, repair, or modify any part of the unit doing so
will void all warranties.
– You should open, remove the fuse, and leave the cap open on the fuse holder
to feed it through the hole.
Important – Check local laws regarding the use of a mobile phone and a hands-
free kit while driving. If you use the Bluetooth° unit while driving, ensure
your attention and focus remain on your responsibility of driving safely.
Turning Unit – ON / OFF
– Connect Yellow Wire (8+) 12V Battery and Black Wire (B-) 12V Ground
securely.
– Press the S button and hold it for over 3 seconds until you see the blue
LEO light goes out (OFF) or stay lit for (ON).
Pairing Bluet+ooth ° Device
– Go to Settings on your phone and place Bluetooth° setting into “discoverable
“mode.
-Search for (IBR65) device.
– On the phone select (IBR6S) to pair the device.
– Once a device is paired each time this device is seen by the IBR6S it will
automatically reconnect to the device. If no device is present the 18%5
automatically goes into pairing mode and will present itself as discoverable
for the next device present.
Ignition / Accessory / Remote Amp Trigger
– Connect the Red to the Ignition/Accessory wire from the head unit ar
other Power ON/OFF switching. When 18%5 is used in this method the ON/OFF
switching built into the device is bypassed and will not function. The unit
will be turned ON/OFF via the head unit or another controller.
– Connect the Blue/White Stripe (Remate out trigger) to the amplifier remote
trigger to turn the amplifier ON/OFF via the IBR6S. When you press jzI, button
and hold it for longer than 3 seconds the IBR6S will turn ON or OFF and will
also turn the amplifier ON or OFF.
AUX Input/ Output
– Connect AUX Input with any media player.
– Connect AUX output to the amplifier.
– Double-tap button rapidly to switch between Bluetooth• source and AUX
input source.
– When using the AUX Input source the volume control in the IBR6S is bypassed
and you will use the volume control on the alternate source.
– When in AUX mode the AUX button will illuminate.
Trouble Shooting Guide
– Make sure volume is up on Bluetooth sources.
– Confirm Pairing if no sound.
– Power ON/OFF will only work when the Yellow Power Wire is connected. If you
connect the Red Power Wire it bypasses the Power ON/OFF function. If you want
to manually turn the power ON/OFF you need to only connect the Yellow Power
Wire.
– If you want the device to power up and power down automatically (and bypass
the ON/OFF switching) you will need to connect the Red Power Wire to the
ignition or to a switched power source.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Pan 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses,
and can radiate radio frequency energy, and if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
– Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
– increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
– Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to
which the receiver is connected.
– Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user s authority to operate the equipment. This
device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions:
- this device may not cause harmful interference, and
- this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
