Assembly of the screen
Step 1
Slide the corner connectors of the inner frame into the short frame pieces,
then slide them into the long frame pieces.
(If you have a 6 piece frame, prior to this step, use the connectors for the
inner frame pieces)Before tightening the screws, make sure
that the frame parts are as perfectly aligned as possible with no gaps at the
corners and at absolute right-angles. Once you are happy, tighten the screws.
Step 2
Spread the fabric (face down) on a soft, clean and free of sharp objects) area
and carefully push the rods into the outer pockets of the fabric. Make sure
that the front of the fabric is pointing downwards.
Step 3
Carefully place the previously secured inner frame with 2 people, centered as
well as possible on the projection fabric.
Start with one corner, using 4 springs, the fabric can be attached using the tension rods and springs. Use the clamping aid and carefully pull the springs around the frame and anchor the springs in the rear of the frame profile. The fabric is carefully drawn around the frame. This must be done with 2 people, one person anchors the fabric and a second person helps guide the fabric around the frame to avoid damage/deformation of the fabric. Now repeat the process with the other corners.
When the 4 corners are connected: Start on the long sides in the middle and anchor further springs working towards the edges. Then do the same (working from the middle to the edges) on the shorter sides of the frame.
(Before doing this, If you have a six piece frame, screw the two frame reinforcements to the long frame pieces on the rear of the frame.)
Step 4
Slide the outer (velor) frame pieces onto the screen and connect them with the
corner connectors in all 4 corners. Screw the inner and outer frame together.
If you hear a “click”, the frame parts are sufficiently connected.
Wall mounting
- Depending on the width of your frame, bring the wall brackets to approximately 1/3 and 2/3 of the frame width on your wall. Use only load bearing masonry or solid wood walls for mounting. The wall brackets must be absolutely level (use spirit level and mark). Use only mounting material suitable for the wall material (eg dowels & screws for concrete or wood screws for solid wood). Mount the bracket to the wall.
- Carefully lift the frame with 2 people at a time and place it onto the previously mounted wall brackets so that the upper frame profile attaches to the wall bracket. It should slip in and anchor into place. The installation of your screen is complete.
