Configure the Router

  • Open the mobile phone or computer browser, visit the http:// 192.168.10.1 website, enter the router management interface.
  • Enter the default username and password on the label at the bottom of the router.
  • After accessing the management interface, select the network mode- PPPOE, DHCP or Static IP to set according to the broadband you are using.
  1. When selecting PPPOE, please enter the UserName and Password provided by the network operator, and click Apply

Password Setting

In the router management interface of http:// 192.168.10.1, click Quick Setup interface to customize the WLAN (2.4GHz) / WLAN (5GHz) password. After setting the password, click Apply

EasyMesh Configuration

One-click Mesh function:

  1. Complete the configuration of the Controller, ensure that the Controller’s network is normal, and the green light is on.
  2. When additional Agent is needed: take out the new device and connect to the network, press the WPS button of the Controller and the Agent at the same time (for more than 5 seconds) for networking.
  3. Before networking, the indicator light of the Controller is on green (the network is normal), and the Agent is on red (the network is abnormal). In the process of networking, the indicator light of the Controller is on green flashing and the Agent is on red flashing. after the success of networking, the indicator light of the Controller is on green, and the indicator light of the Agent turns to green from red.

Mesh Setting
Setting the Controller: select WLAN –Easy Mesh in the router management interface: fill Controller in Device Name; select Controller in Role; Click the Apply button to save the Settings.

Setting the Agent, in the router management interface of Agent, select WLAN -EasyMesh: fill Agent in Device Name; select Agent in Role; Click the Apply button to save the Settings.

After the two devices complete the above steps, the EasyMesh page will refresh and the Start PBC button will appear. Click Start PBC for both devices, or press the WPS button shortly, automatic mesh network can be triggered.

Frequently Asked Questions

What to do if there is a problem when setting the router to surf the Internet ?

  • If you cannot find the router’s SSID on your mobile phone, please make sure that the router is powered on, wait for a moment and wait for the router to finish start-up, and then search again on your mobile phone to connect.
  • If the device cannot connect to the network, please ensure that the network port connection of the router is not loose, no poor contact, and no abnormal network cable.

How to restore the router to factory settings ?

  • Power on the router and wait for a moment until the router finish start-up. Press the RESET hole of the router with a needle for more than 5 seconds. After the indicator light goes out, release it. After the red light is turned on when the router restarts, the factory setting restoration has been completed. After the factory settings are restored, the router needs to be reconfigured.

What should be paid attention to during the setting of EasyMesh ?

  • After the completion of EasyMesh networking, the Controller will synchronize its SSID, password and channels of 2.4GHz and 5GHz to the Agent.
  • After modifying the SSID, password and channel on the Controller, the Controller will synchronize these configurations to all Agents. If the above information is modified on the Agent , it will not synchronize to other devices.
  • After the power failure, the routers will resume the original EasyMesh network by default, and there is no need to reset.
  • If the EasyMesh network of the Controller is closed, the whole network will be dissolved; If the EasyMesh network of the Agent is turned off, the device is disconnected from the mesh network alone

Security Issues

  1. Before using and operating the router, please read and observe the following notes to ensure the stable performance of the router and to avoid dangerous or illegal situations.
  2. Please use and store the router and its accessories within the temperature range of 0℃~40℃. When the temperature is too high or too low, it may cause equipment failure.
  3. In the process of using the router, ensure that the distance between the human body and the antenna of the router is more than 20cm.
  4. Only use accessories approved by the router manufacturer and compatible with this type of router. If other types of accessories are used, it may violate the warranty of the router and the relevant regulations of the country where the equipment is located, and may lead to safety incidents.
  5. Power sockets shall be installed near the router and shall be easily accessible.
  6. When the device is not in use, disconnect the power from the router and unplug the power plug from the power socket.
