3. Preparing MultiScent 20 for first use

Charge the battery

Your device will not have its battery fully charged when it is first turned on. We recommend you to charge it the first time for approximately 8 hours.

Attention: If the device is not used for a long period of time, the battery will discharge. In this situation, we recommend you to charge it for approximately 6 hours for full charge.

  1. Connect the Bivolt charger tip (mini-USB connector) to the device;
  2. Connect the adapter to the outlet. The charging should start automatically;
  3. Wait for the recommended charging time of 8 hours.

You can check the battery charge level in the app running MultiScent 20 when the app is connected to the device.

4. Using MultiScent 20

An internet connection is required to download the app and register.

Then it will be possible to operate offline and connect from time to time to update the data.

  1. Download the app compatible with your MultiScent 20 on the App Store or Play Store (refer to the apps indicated in the Quick Start Guide) and install it on your mobile or tablet.
  2. The app uses location services to operate. When installed, the app will ask your permission to use it. Make sure this option is enabled and that you have not disabled it for any reason during use.

Minimum configuration

The minimum settings of your cell phone or tablet to operate the app are the following:

Android (cell phone or tablet): operating system 6 or higher
Phone: models 6s or higher with iOS 13 or higher
Ipad: models with iOS 13 or higher

Please note

  1. Before turning on your MultiScent 20 open the Ventilation Window of the device and keep it open during use.
  2. After opening the Ventilation Window, turn on your MultiScent 20 by dragging the button to the “l” position. Every time you turn on the device it performs an automatic process that lasts 22 seconds. Wait for this time before connecting to the app.
  3. Follow the configuration steps in the app. You will need to register on the platform and then you will be able to synchronize your MultiScent 20 with the cell phone or tablet scanning the QR Code on the back of your device or selecting it from the list of devices that will appear on your app screen. Your device will be listed by the name “MultiScent 20”.
  4. Once connected you will be guided by the app to insert the fragrances for the first time (see page 10).
  5. Whenever you turn off and carry your MultiScent 20, close the Ventilation Window.

5. Inserting the fragrances in your MultiScent 20

The first time you use your MultiScent 20 you will need to insert the 20 fragrances in your device.

Follow these steps for the remaining fragrances. Your MultiScent 20 will be ready to use!

Attention! Keep the exchange door closed whenever you are not inserting or removing a capsule.

6. Changing empty or expired capsules

If the app tells you to exchange the capsule of some fragrance because there are no more shots available or because there is a new fragrance collection being promoted, follow the following steps:

Attention! Keep the exchange door closed whenever you are not inserting or removing a capsule.

9. Cleaning your MultiScent 20

Clean the entire exterior of the device with a tissue moistened with alcohol 70% after each person’s use.

Troubleshooting

  1. My device does not turn on. Make sure it is charged. Make sure the on/off button is in “l” position.
  2. I can’t download the app Check if your smartphone or tablet has the minimum settings to operate the app (page 8).
  3. I can’t connect my MultiScent 20 to the app. Check that your device is on (position “I”) and the battery is charged.

If you have already used your MultiScent 20 on your phone, turn the device on and open the app. The fragrance catalog will automatically charge in 5 seconds. The app uses location services to operate. When installed, the app will ask your permission to use it. Make sure this option is enabled and that you have not disabled it for any reason during use.

4. The app does not recognize the capsule I am trying to insert.

Make sure you are trying to replace the correct fragrance. The app will not do the recognition if you try to put a different fragrance in the same place. If you need further assistance, please check the service channels in the Quick Start Guide that comes with this product.

11. MultiScent 20 Guarantee Certificate

This device is guaranteed by NOAR, according to the conditions established below:

  1. NOAR guarantees this Product against vices and defects, under normal conditions of use by the customer during the period of its validity which includes: 90 days of legal warranty and 09 additional months of contractual warranty-
  2. The warranty period is counted from the date of issuance of the Sale Invoice (the “Warranty Period”).
  3. When the Product or its part is exchanged by NOAR the discarded item (replaced) will become the property of NOA R.
  4. In case of reimbursement of the price, the Product whose value has been reimbursed, must be returned to NOAR and will become the property of NOAR.
  5. NOAR is not responsible for damages resulting from not following the instructions related to the use of the product or even for updates made by the customer.
  6. This warranty does not apply to: (a) external damages in its appearance, including, without limitation, scratches, dents, broken plastic, etc; (b) damages caused by accident, misuse, contact of corrosive liquids, abrasive or not, fire, earthquake or other causes of external origin; (c) damages caused by improper use of the product in disagreement with the instructions and the use recommendations described by NOAR; (d) damage caused by services (including upgrades and expansions) provided by any person other than an authorized NOAR service provider; (e) the part that has been modified so as to alter the functionality or capability of the Product without the written permission of NOAR; (f) defects due to natural wear and tear resulting from use or of a different nature that are caused by normal aging of the Product; or (g) if NOAR’s serial number has been removed or disfigured.

Important: Product disassembly should only be done by NOAR or an authorized NOAR service provider.

Opening the Product may cause damage not covered by this warranty.

The Product or a replacement Product will be returned to you with the same factory setting as the original

Product on the date it was purchased, subject to applicable updates.

For warranty and technical support guidance or in case of doubt, check the service channels available in the Quick Start Guide that comes with this product.
