Long Reach Pruner
Instructions
To Cut
Step 1: Unlock the Cutting Blade by gently squeezing the Trigger and then
sliding the Safety Lock to the unlocked position. Release the Trigger. (Figure
A)
Step 2: Place the stem or branch in between the blades and then squeeze
the trigger to cut.
Note: To use the cut and hold feature, rotate the pruner so the Red Blade
Guard is facing outward and away from the plant or tree that you are cutting.
Squeeze the trigger to close the blades. Keep the trigger squeezed to hold on
to the item that was just cut. Release the trigger to release the item. To cut
without the hold feature, have the Red Blade Guard facing inward, toward the
plant or tree that you are cutting.
To Adjust Pruner Length
Step 1: Press the Extension Button to release the extension pole from the
locked position. (Figure B)
Step 2: Extend the pruner by pulling the pole out until it engages in the
next locking setting.
Note: The Soft Grip can be repositioned along the pole for a comfortable
grip regardless of the pruner’s desired length. There are 3 length settings.
The Extension Button must be pressed before lengthening or shortening the
pole. Be sure the button is secured in one of the 3 holes and locked into
position, otherwise, the cutting action may not work.
