BATTERY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Each Walkie Talkie requires 3 x “AAA” (R03] Batteries (Not Included]
ADULT INSTALLATION REQUIRED
If performance diminishes after purchase, replace with fresh batteries.
- Locate battery compartment.
- Using a Phillips Head screwdriver, remove the screw and the battery door.
- Install new batteries.
- Replace the battery cover and the screw
HOW TO OPERATE YOUR WALKIE TALKIE
REQUIRES:
3 ALKALINE “AAA” BATTERIES (LR03)
NOT INCLUDED
- Open the battery cover and snap-in 3 x AAA batteries (not included]
- Turn the “ON/OFF” switch to “ON” position. Your transceiver is now ready to operate.
- Press the “TALK BUTTON” switch for transmitting.
- Release the “TALK BUTTON” switch for receiving.
- When transmitting, speak clearly in a normal voice, holding the set about 3 inches from your mouth.
- Best transmission and reception are obtained when the antenna is held in a vertical position.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
CONSUMER INFORMATION: SAFETY AND DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of Waste Electrical Electronic Equipment (WEEE), including
batteries, in unsorted municipal waste; collect separately. Dispose of at WEEE
collection sites per local regulation. WEEE contains chemicals that are
hazardous to the environment and human health. The end-user’s participation is
critical to the success of the WEEE collection.
- Do not burn batteries.
- Dispose of batteries in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
- Different types of batteries or new and used/old batteries are not to be mixed
- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being changed
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.• To prolong the life of this product, remove batteries when toy is in storage.

- If there is no play activity within a 15 minute time frame, the walkie-talkie has been programmed to automatically go into sleep mode. To reactivate simply press the talk button.
