PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY INFORMATION PROVIDED BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT

Intended use : Engo Smart Eyewear are sport sunglasses that can display data from connected devices in the field of vision of the wearer. Engo Smart Eyewear is designed for recreational use only and is not designed for use while driving. Stay alert, think about your safety and the safety of others when using Engo Smart Eyewear. Only use the accessories specified by the manufacturer. Close supervision is needed when this product is used by or near children.

Engo Smart Eyewear SHOULD NOT BE USED BY CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF SEVEN (7). Children under the age of seven (7) are still learning to focus and track with their eyes. Their vision is still immature. Please habituate yourself slowly to the optical display.

Warnings : Before use, please inspect the product. Do not use if the product has been damaged (cracked, crushed, broken, etc.). A single defect may lead to a breakdown in protection and create health risks for the user.
Do not try to make unauthorized modifications to this product. Do not disassemble this product. Please contact Engo support if servicing is required.
Do not modify the screws. Making unauthorized modifications to the screws will result in the product warranty being voided and the image quality may be altered.
Do not try to remove the battery. Always use an undamaged AC adaptor, which is certified in compliance with current regulations for charging the product.
Do not wear Engo Smart Eyewear while recharging the battery.

Do not leave Engo Smart Eyewear plugged-in to the power supply permanently when not in use, during a thunderstorm, or when you are away from home.
Do not switch on and use the device if the battery cover is damaged or, for any reason, the battery is exposed to open air.

Do not leave the glasses fully discharged for several months at a time. When charging, do not put the glasses into an enclosed or unventilated space, or in contact with surfaces that may heat or burn (near textile, metal, ceramic tile…).

Immediately unplug the product from external power sources if liquid has been sprayed, splashed or poured onto the product; if any component within the product has been dropped or damaged; or if the product exhibits any distinct change in performance.

Avoid contact with the USB connector by conductive elements such as metal or liquid. Charging via a wet USB plug may damage the device. Do not charge the glasses in a humid environment such as a steamy bathroom. If the glasses heat up abnormally, turn them off. Unplug them if they are being charged and contact our support services immediately.

Do not store in a vehicle exposed to the sun or anywhere where the ambient temperature is above 120°F (49°C).
Do not store the glasses close to household appliances (microwave, induction plate…).
Batteries contain toxic materials. Do not burn, disassemble, mutilate or puncture the batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. Dispose of batteries in a method that is consistent with your local laws and regulations.

CE SAR STATEMENT : In accordance with report R120-19-100 679-01-6_A the transmitted power of the device is 1.6mW. In accordance with the norm EN 62479 the transmitted power is inferior to 20mW and as such is excluded from the recommendation 1999/519/CE (General Public) and the directive 2013/35/UE (Professional Users) .

The position of the antenna is a distance greater than 1.38mm from the head. Therefore a SAR calculation is not required.

Eye Protection : Engo Smart Eyewear are resistant to daily use under normal conditions when used in accordance with accompanying documents. Like conventional sunglasses, they require a certain delicacy and must be handled with care (espe- cially to avoid scratches).

This product complies with European Regulation (EU) 2016/425 concerning Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to ISO 12312-1: 2013 / A1: 2015 (Sunglasses for general use), to the norm AS/NZS1067.2 :2016 Amd 1 : 2018 (Eye and face protection—Sunglasses and fashion spectacles) and to the norm ANSI Z80.3 :2018 (Ophthalmics – Nonprescription Sunglass And Fashion Eyewear Requirements). Protection against the risk of eye damage due to exposure to sunlight (other than those occurring during a direct sun observation). The declaration of conformity of this PPE is available on www. engoeyewear.com.

Recommendations for maintenance and storage : Please refer to Cleaning do- cument provided with your Smart Eyewear. Keep lenses free from scratches to maintain quality compliance. Whilst your Smart Eyewear are not in use please store them systematically in the provided case and store them in a dry, cool environment if possible. Before use, check the product ; Do not use if the product is degraded, any deterioration could decrease protection.

WARNING: Do not use this product for direct observation of the sun. This product does not provide safe protection against artificial light (Solarium, laser UV lamps, etc.). Does not protect the eye against mechanical hazards (like shocks). For filters in category 3,2,1 (with visible light transmission below 75%) : does not apply for night or low light driving conditions. Category 4 : Not suitable for drivers and road users. The filter category is indicated on the Smart Eyewear temples.
