MULTILINK 8T1 230V Radio Switch Transmitter User Guide

Installation

Connect the Switched Input Lin

Connect the Switching Live input to Lin.
When this input is ‘LIVE’ the Red LED will illuminate, and MULTILINK-RX will then switch Live out at its output.

System Operation

When any transmitter(s) are active the receiver will provide a LIVE output
Only when ALL transmitters are INACTIVE, then the receiver will switch OFF its output.

MULTILINK incorporates a “smart watchdog” failsafe, the receiver knows the status of all transmitters at all times. Whilst LIVE is present at a MULTILINK Transmitter a background “Watchdog” signal is Intermittently sent (every ~30 seconds). MULTILINK Receiver will switch its output OFF if it receives all the OFF commands from transmitters, or, has failed to receive any Watchdog signal within a two minute period from any paired transmitter.

Advanced Features – Jumper Link Setting

MODE
FSK, Faster operation shorter (Line of sight up to 500m in buildings 200m.)
This mode is recommended for general operation,

LORA Mode 3, Long range Mode / Slower operation. This mode can be used where additional RF penetration / range is required.

Warnings:

• Product is not independently isolated, ISOLATE the mains electricity supply before removing the cover and observe any relevant safety precautions. Maintenance to the product that involves removal of the cover should only be carried out by a competent person or qualified electrician.
• F2 Fuse rating is 4A (T) 250 H (Ceramic). Replace fuse with same type and rating.
• Relay is rated at 10A peak, and 5A constant.
