HOW TO USE

• The Scoop magnifying glasses are used for magnification of small items during precision work such as mechanical processing, electronics repair, jewelry appraisal, timepiece repair, etc.
• They feature 3 levels of magnification. Base lens – 8×, additional lens – 15×, combined –23×.
• The additional lenses come installed on the glasses. Twist them counterclockwise to remove them. To install them back over the original lens, place them over the lens and twist clockwise.
• The lenses are mounted to the frame on adjustable brackets (2). They can rotate 180°up and down. This can help you alleviate eye fatigue as you work and use each eye interchangeably.
• You can slide each lens left and right by loosening the screw on the bracket. Each bracket can be moved within a range of 5 mm. Tighten the screw on the bracket when you finish adjusting the lens width.
• To extend or shorten the temples just gently push or pull them to the desired position.
• The glasses come equipped with 2 adjustable LED lights. They are mounted on adjustable brackets (6) and can be moved left and right for optimal lighting.
• The LED lights are turned on with the light switch (3). Turn the switch clockwise to turn on the light (each LED has its own switch and battery compartment). Each light has 3 settings: OFF, low light, bright light.
• To change the batteries, press down and twist the battery compartment cover counterclockwise. Take out the batteries and put in three new LR1130 button batteries. Mind the polarity. Picture for reference:

WARNINGS

• Do not look directly into sources of light with the glasses.
• Pay attention to your surroundings when using the glasses.
• Keep a clean and safe working space during use.
• Do not disassemble or modify in any way.
• Keep away from heat and moisture.
• Not suitable for children.
• Take regular breaks during use. Failure to do so might cause eye damage and fatigue.
• Always turn off the lights when not in use.

WARRANTY

The warranty is valid for 24 months. You can claim it from DFVU d.o.o., Liparjeva 6a, 1234 Mengeš, Slovenia, for a replacement product or a refund. Send us your order number and purchase date in the email, which is available by clicking on our logo in the bottom right corner. The product has a lifetime of 24 months from the date of collection.
