Failure Analysis and Solutions

Mist knob is switched on, no wind and mist?
Cause: Power is not connected or there is a problem with the power.
Solution: Reconnect power supply. If still unable to function, kindly contact our customer service.

The light is on, but there is no wind and no mist?
Cause: Lack of water
Solution: Fill water in the water tank.

Mist volume is low
Cause: Atomizer plate is not clean or water is not pure enough.
Solution: Clean the atomizer plate and replace it with clean water.

Mist leak from mist nozzle surrounding
Cause: There is a gap between the mist nozzle with water tank.
Solution: Soak the mist nozzle in water and replace it back.

Product Instructions

1. Remove the humidifier from the box and place it on a flat surface. Remove the fill with water (do not exceed the max. water level), place back the water tank cover, and connect the cable plug.

2. Press On/Off button, the machine will enter default mode; the mist will be at the highest level.
   UV light on; water tank with blue light; the screen showing current humidity level; other function at standby mode.

3. Timer: Press “Timer show the timer digit (adjust starting from 1 hour).
   Each press will add 1 hour, able to set until 14 hours, then enter the timer mode. When the operating time reaches the time set, the machine will stop operating  (Note: the timer

4. UV Sterilization: After on the humidifier machine will enter the UV automatically. Press UV sterilization button to off the UV mode.

5. Sleep: Press “Sleep and water tank light will off after 5 seconds, but other functions are operating as normal. Press any button to dismiss sleep mode.

6. Humidity: Press the “Humidity” button to adjust the humidity level. The starting humidity is 55%RH. Press one time to add 5% RH. (The humidity level setting is from 30-95%RH). After being set to the preferred humidity level, the digit will blink for 3 seconds and enter the humidity mode. The humidity digit shown is the current humidity level. When the humidity reaches the set level. the mist function will stop working. When the humidity is lower 5%RH than the setting, the misting function will start working.

7. Mist: The default mode is a highest level mist “, press one time to set middle mist level” “, press another time for lowest level “ “.

8. Water tank light: The function is the default mode, the light will automatically be off after the machine is off.

9. Cover and main motor auto cut-off when lifting up: The machine will auto cut-off operation when the cover and main motor are lift up.

10. Water shortage: When the water tank is lack water, the machine will stop operating, LED panel will show red color at the water shortage icon. Refill water and restart the machine.

Cleaning And Maintenance

Add detergent powder (for humidifier) with clean water and soak as per detergent instructions. Use a brush to scrub gently the atomizer and rinse with clean water and leave it dry. Recommend to clean the humidifier regularly, once a week or every 2-3 days if using essential oil or sanitizer.
Water Tank Cleaning
Remove the main motor, clean the water tank and place back the main motor.

Upper Component Cleaning
Remove cover and middle board, clean the water tank and place back all accessories.

Precautions

1. The power supply voltage must be consistent with the rated power of this product.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
3. Please use the product at normal room temperature (5°C~40°C), humidity: <80%RH.
4. Please put and use the product on a flat surface.
5. Please do not use the humidifier directly on a wooden floor, to prevent the floor from being damaged.
6. Please put the humidifier 2 meters away from furniture & electronic devices, to prevent from wet.
7. Please prevent the humidifier from heat and direct sunlight.
8. Do not insert water higher than 40°C into the water tank to prevent the product from being damaged.
9. Do not allow water to flow from the air outlet to the body. If there is, wipe it with a dry cloth to prevent damage to the machine.
10. If there is any abnormal sound or smell, turn off the humidifier immediately.
11. Please do not insert any metal, chemical or detergent into the water tank or base.
12. Turn off the power supply and unplug before pouring the water from the water tank.
13. Do remember to off the power supply and unplug if there is a need to adjust, clean and add water. Do not move the product when it is working.
14. Strictly not allowed to insert water into the mist nozzle and air outlet.
15. When cleaning, prevent the product from water.
16. Do not simply disassemble the product.
17. To avoid the growth of bacteria, do clean the humidifier regularly.
18. This humidifier is for household use only.

Warranty is applied upon manufacturing defects only. Warranty does not cover defects and malfunction due to essential oil, human misuse, and abnormal voltage or in-coming power supply.

Instructions of Essential Oil & Sanitizer

1. Deroma M977 is designed mainly for the function of humidifying your environment. The main function of a humidifier is to diffuse water mist.
2. Diffuse water mist will help to reduce the temperature (I-2celcius) and help to avoid dry
3. Essential Oil and Alcohol Base Sanitizer is STRICTLY not allowed to mix into the water tank and also motor base area, except aroma oil
4. A mixture of essential oil and alcohol base sanitizer into the product will void the warranty.

New Formulated Aroma for Deroma Humidifier

1. Deroma is a new formulated water-based fragrance with essential oil that is safe for the Deroma Humidifier machine.
2. If a user wishes Deroma Humidifier can help to diffuse good smell mist for a more comfortable environment, STRICTLY only use Deroma Water-Based Essential Oil that has been tested safe for Deroma Humidifier.
3. A mixture of other essentials into a water tank will void the warranty as Deroma only will be distributed by the selected dealer. Please provide proof of purchase, if the claimed humidifier is damaged due to Deroma essential oil.

Gentle Reminder

1. Do not leave or soak the essential oil, sanitizer, or any liquid in the humidifier or motor part when not in use in a period of time.
2. Please keep the humidifier water tank and motor part dry when not in use for a period of time to prevent any damage on the parts.
