Activation codes: Help for customers in-licensing and installation
Licensing and installation instructions
After you buy downloadable software from Thomann, we’ll send you an e-mail
containing an activation code and a link to the web page where you can redeem
this code. Usually, this is the software manufacturer’s homepage, and you’ll
have to set up your own customer account there so that a license can be
assigned to you personally.
You’ll download your software directly from the manufacturer.
Step 1 Create a customer account
You can do this by simply clicking on the head icon top right and selecting
the option “Create Account”, or use this link:

Download the installation files:

Step 2 Register
As soon as you have installed the “Product Manager”, you can enter the access
data of your IK Multimedia account. You’ll be prompted to do so the first time

Your computer needs to stay connected to the internet throughout.
Step 3 Registration
In “Register Product”, you can then enter the activation code from the e-mail
you received from Thomann and also install your software directly from the
Product Manager.
Please note: In order to get to the “Register Product” function, you need to first click on the tile symbol top right. After login, you will be in the home section by default.
Step 4 A small hint
Maybe you have already installed a demo or smaller version of your new
product. Ideally, you should uninstall this to ensure a “clean” new
installation of your new software.
You can then immediately use your new software. Re-booting the system is not required as a rule, but it won’t hurt, either.
