SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt, and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this appliance to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for envisaged purposes. This appliance is not made for commercial use.
Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid), and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the appliance off. Remove the plug from the socket.
The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
Make sure the power cord is easily accessible at all times.
Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Use only original spare parts.
Fan heater can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
The heater shouldn’t be used by children.
In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach. Children shall not play with the appliance. Do not allow small children to play with the foil. There is a danger of suffocation!
Suitable for domestic use only.

IMPORTANT SECURITY WARNING

This is an additional heating device. Never leave the device unattended for several hours. Do not leave the house without turning off the heater.

BE CAREFUL!
Always place the appliance in such a way that the air can enter and exit without any obstacles.
Risk of burns! The air has a very high temperature! Please do not allow children to play unattended near the device.

OVERHEATING WARNING:

Do not heat any rooms less than 4m3.
Place the device on a flat and heat-resistant surface.
Under no circumstances may the fan heater be used in rooms with explosive gas (e. g. petrol) or while work is being carried out with inflammable adhesives or solvents.
Some parts of the product can become very hot and cause burns. Avoid contact with the skin. Carry the appliance by its handle.
Do not insert any objects into the fan heater.

WARNING : In order to prevent overheating, the fan heater must not be covered.

OVERHEATING WARNING

Do not use the quartz heater in close proximity to bathtubs, showers or swimming pools.
Keep a safety distance of 1.25 meters.

QUARTZ GLASS TUBES
The infrared rays of the quartz glass tubes ensure healthy and efficient heat, as it’s not spending the oxygen in the air.

SAFETY TIP-OVER SWITCH FOR AUTO – CUT OFF

Quartz heater is equipped with a special protection system, the tip-over switch, which if the quartz heater falls, it cuts the power immediately and the device does not work. This safety system eliminates the risk of fire in the case of fall, due to the high temperature at the front metal frame.

ROTARY CONTROL SWITCH

You can adjust the desired temperature by choosing one of the below resistor combinations. Set the switch in position

1 -p function glass tube 1 & 5
2 -‘ function glass tube 4 & 5
3 —> function glass tube 2,3 & 5
4 —* function glass tube 2,3,4 & 5
5 —> function all-glass tubes 1,2,3,4 & 5
Off -, switch off

ADJUSTABLE THERMOSTAT

Set the thermostat in the desired temperature level (mix/ max); ideal for keeping the room at a stable temperature.
FEET ASSEMBLY
Please follow the instructions on the below diagram to install the feet on the bottom of the heater.

INITIAL USE OF THE HEATER

Set the thermostat to the max position.
Set the rotary control switch to position 5 (operation of all heating tubes 1,2,3,4 and 5)
Operate the heater for 5 minutes.

NOTE: During initial use and due to insulating materials on the resistances, odor and/or smoke may be caused. This is not a malfunctioning of the heater and stops after the initial heating of the resistors.
CAUTION: In case of any damage, please switch the quartz heater off immediately and disconnect the plug from the socket-outlet. In the event of cable damage, please visit a qualified technician for repair or replacement.
