CAEA-SRR-400
Product introduction
CAEA-SRR-400 is a middle-range radar. This system uses two radars as the lateral and backward warning systems. The system supports multiple functions, including BSD, LCA, DOW, RCTA, and RCW. During the normal system operation, LEDs will be activated as an output when one or more warning conditions are satisfied. Moreover, LEDs will be constant on or flashing for different system warning levels.
System structure
Functional specifications
BSD Function
Standard ISO LCDAS Type I
BSD detection area:
Horizontal:
0.5 m∼3.5m Longitudinal: 95% sight line – 3m behind of the vehicle
All boundary values can be adjusted
- The system uses the radars installed on both sides of the vehicle to monitor targets approaching from both sides of the vehicle and warn of the potential collision danger
- Start condition: The vehicle speed is larger than 20 Km/h (configurable).
- Warning conditions: 1) Entering the blind area on one or both sides of the vehicle; 2) Turning on the corresponding turning light.
- Alarm mode: Two levels of warning depending on the turning signal.
LCA Function
Standard ISO LCDAS Type III-C
LCA detection area:
Horizontal:
0.5 m ∼3.5m Longitudinal:
Two lanes, 70m behind of the vehicle
All boundary values can be adjusted
- The system uses the radars installed on both sides of the vehicle to monitor targets approaching from both sides of the vehicle and warn of the potential collision danger.
- Start condition: The vehicle speed is larger than 20 Km/h (configurable).
- Warning conditions: 1) Entering the warning zone on one or both sides of the vehicle and the target vehicle is moving close to the vehicle; 2) The time to collision: TTC s 3.5s; 3) Turning on the corresponding turning light.
- Alarm mode: Two levels warning depends on the turning signal.
DOW Function
DOW detection area:
Horizontal:
0.5 m ∼ 3.5m
Longitudinal:
0.5 m ∼ 6m behind of the vehicle
All boundary values can be adjusted
- The system is used in the parking scenario to detect the potential collision danger from both sides of the vehicle.
- Start condition: The vehicle speed is 0.
- Warning conditions: 1) Entering the warning zone on one or both sides of the vehicle and the target vehicle is moving close to the vehicle; 2) The time to collision: TTC s 3.5s; 3) Detecting the door status.
- Alarm mode: Two levels warning depends on the vehicle door signals.
RCTA Function
RCW Function
RCW detection area:
Horizontal:
-1.5 m∼ +1.5m Longitudinal: rear lane 70m
All boundary values can be adjusted
- The system uses the radar installed on both sides of the vehicle to monitor the approaching vehicles from the rear and warn of the potential collision danger.
- Start condition: The vehicle speed is larger than 20 Km/h (configurable).
- Warning conditions: 1) Entering the warning zone and the target vehicle is moving close to the vehicle. 2) The collision time TTC ≤ 3.5s.
- Alarm mode: Output warning signal.
