Please read this manual carefully for proper usage before installation and
use. II is recommended to keep this manual properly for future checks.
The pictures in this manual are only for reference.
Safety Warning and Notice
Thank you to choose the LCD MONITOR with LCD backlight made by our company, a valuable product with excellent quality and multiple functions. This machine will bring you more audiovisual enjoyment. Its design can ensure users’ safety. All machines are strictly tested before leaving the factory. But incorrect use can lead to electric shock or fire. In order to ensure safety and extend its life, please read the manual and marking label carefully before using it and comply with the following safety instructions. Please keep the user manual for later use.

Under Following Conditions
Power failure or unstable voltage.
Abnormal sound or smell from the device.
AC power cord is damaged.
Monitor set is damaged due to falling off, knock or impact.
Any liquid or foreign matters enter into the monitor set.
Turn off the monitor set immediately, unplug the power cord from the power
outlet, and contact authorized maintenance personnel.
If coal-gas or other flammable gases leak, do not unplug the power cord of the monitor settings or other electric appliances; instead, close the valve of the gas immediately and open the doors and windows.
Warming

Only use 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz power supply.
This monitor must be connected to a three-pin socket outlet for safety. -
All cables can be connected or pulled out only after the power supply is turned off.
Do not fix the monitor set in an unstable position, or else it may cause falling off, damage, or even fire. -
Do not put the monitor set in the environment:
1. With direct sunshine, moisture, overheating, undercooling or heavy dust;
2. With flammable or explosive substance;
3. With flammable or corrosive gas;
4. In bathroom, kitchen, etc.
Do not use a damaged or improper power socket, and ensure that the plug and socket are connected properly. -
Keep the power plug and socket free of dust and metal pieces.
Do not damage the power cord:
1. It is prohibited to refit the power cord;
2. Do not put heavy objects on the power cord;
3. Keep the power cord away from heat source;
4. Do not drag the power cord when unplugging.

One power strip, or else it may cause fire due to high power consumption.
- Do not let open flame (e.g. lit candle) approach the monitor set, or else it may cause electric shock or fire.
- Do not put the container filled with water on the monitor set, to avoid electric shock or fire caused by water drop of splashing.
- Do not penetrate any sharp object, metal, or liquid into the signal connector or air vents, to avoid short circuit and product damage as well as electric shock.
- The slots on the case are designed to release heat so as to assure that all inside components will not reach an extra high temperature and can work normally for a long time. Please do not cover the holes while placing them.
Do not touch the plug with wet hands, or else it may cause electric shock.
Do not turn on the monitor set in ‘thunderstorm weather; instead, unplug the
power plug to avoid a lightning strikes.
Do not disassemble the monitor set by yourself, or else it may cause electric
shock or fire. Contact qualified personnel for maintenance.

Do not let children climb onto the monitor set.

Keep the small accessories away from children’s reach to avoid swallowing.

If the monitor set won’t be used for a long time, please turn off the device and unplug the power cord.

Before cleaning the monitor set. unplug the power cord and wipe with a soft cloth; do not use chemical reagents and avoid foreign substances entering into the device. The incorrect cleaning (such as cleaning fluid, water, etc) may lead to damage of product’s appearance, erasing products printing information, even flow into the machine and damage components, cause machine can not display.

To adjust the position or angle of the monitor set, please disconnect all wires and move slowly to avoid falling off.

Do not rub with a hard object, knock at, bend, or squeeze the screen.

Do not use the machine immediately after transferring machine to the places with high temperatures from low temperatures, which will cause fogging inside the machine and failures.

If the screen is broken and the liquid splashes on the skin, please wash with clean water immediately for 15 minutes, and go to see your doctor.

To carry the monitor set with hands. please grasp the corners and hold the bottom; do not apply force on the panel.

Displaying the same image for a long time or active image with fixed words, icons will leave “image persistence” on screen which will not disappear after powering off for a long time. This undesirable phenomenon is not covered by warranty.

Healthy monitor watching:
1. Watch inappropriate light; poor light or long time watching may hurt your eyes.
2. Adjust the volume appropriate to avoid hurting your hearing. -
Unplug the power cord of the device to cut off the power supply.

If a power plug or appliance coupler is used as disconnecting device, it should ensure easy operation.

Power plug shall be connected reliably. Loose power plugs may cause sparkle and fire.

Mounting the monitor set
Tips on Installation

The monitor set should be mounted near the AC power socket for easy plugging and unplugging.

For your safety, please select the appropriate wall mount bracket or base.

To avoid hurt, it is required to place the monitor set on a stable plane or fix it on a firm wall.

Ask qualified personnel to mount the monitor set on the wall. Improper mounting may result in an unstable monitor set.

Do not place the monitor set at any place
susceptible to mechanical vibration. -
Do not place the monitor set at any place that insects may enter.
-
Do not mount the monitor set against the air conditioner, or else the internal panel of the display may condense moisture and cause failure.

Do not place the monitor set at any place with a strong magnetic field, or else it may be interfered with and damaged by the electromagnetic waves.

Ventilation
- Please keep this space at least around the monitor, as shown in the figure.
- Do not cover the air vents or insert any object into the enclosure
- Do not put the device in limited space, e.g. bookcase or embedded closet, unless the monitor set is properly ventilated.
WARNING
Never place a television set in an unstable location. A television set may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. Many injuries, particularly to children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:
- Using cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer of the monitor set.
- Only using furniture that can safely support the monitor set.
- Ensuring the monitor set is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
- Not placing the monitor set on tall furniture (for example, cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring both the furniture and the monitor set to a suitable support.
- Not placing the monitor set on cloth or other materials that may be located between the monitor set and supporting furniture.
- Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the monitor set or its controls.
If your existing monitor set is being retained and relocated, the same considerations as above should be applied.
Connecting peripheral equipment
Remark:
- When you need to connect the device which supports the ARC function, please select the HDMI-1
- HDMI connector can realize DVI connector function with external HDMI/DVI commutator.
- COMPONENT and AV share audio interfaces.
- The USB interface is only for software upgrading.
- The peripheral equipment and cables described in this manual should be purchased separately.

Panel Control Keys
- Power LED Indicator and remote receiving window.
- Rocker button combination key:
Power on or standby with OK rocker:
O.When plugging the power cord into the electrical socket, you can press the OK rocker to turn on the monitor.
M.In power-on state, press OK rocker to display the function menu, then move rocker Left/Right to select © and press OK rocker to switch to standby mode.
Press OK rocker:
- After turning on the monitor, In non-OSD menu operation, press OK rocker to display the menu which includes 4 sorts: Menu, Source, Power, Exit. During the menu operation, press the OK rocker to confirm the operation, the function is the same with pressing the [OK] key on the remote control.
- In OSD menu operation, long press OK rocker for 2 seconds to return to the previous page.
Move rocker Left/Right:
- In non-OSD menu operation, move rocker Left/Right to decrease/increase the volume, the function is the same with pressing [ ]/[ ] key on the remote control.
- In OSD menu operation, move rocker Left/Right to adjust the analog value of the selected item, the function is the same with pressing [▲]/[▼] key on the remote control.
Move rocker Up/Down:
In OSD menu operation, move rocker Up/Down to select the adjustment items, the
function is the same with pressing [▲]/[▼]key on the remote control.
Note: Different models may have different appearances, refer to the
actual device.
Press [ ] key to enter the MENU
Press [ ]key to enter the SOURCE.
Press [ ]key to switch to standby mode.
Press [ ] key to return to the previous page.
Remote Control
Installing battery
Remove the battery cover, and insert two AAA (1.5V) batteries; make sure that
the polarity of the battery is consistent with the marks “+/-” in the battery
slot.
Operating Notes for Remote Control
- Aim the remote control at the remote receiving sensor. Any article placed between the remote control and remote receiving sensor could affect the normal operation.
- Do not shake the remote control violently or operate or put it under direct sunlight, as heat could deform the remote control.
- If the remote receiving sensor is located under direct sunlight or strong light, the remote control could fail to work. Please change the light angle or monitor angle or get closer to the remote receiving sensor to operate the remote control
- low battery power could affect the remote control distance, please replace the battery. If the remote control is about to be idle for long or the battery is used up, please remove the battery to avoid any leakage corroding or damaging the remote control.
- Do not use any battery of other specifications. Do not mix the old and new batteries. Always replace both batteries together
- Do not throw the battery into fire, charge it, or break ii down. Do not charge, disassemble, heat or burn the used battery or cause a short circuit to it. Please comply with the relevant environmental protection regulations to dispose of the waste battery.

Basic Operations
Remark:
- The keys operation refers to remote control operation, for panel control keys operation please refer to the “Panel Control Keys” operation explanation.
- Menu operation instruction in this manual is explained according to monitor mode. The operations in other modes are similar to the ones in monitor mode, and users can take it as a reference.
- Before powering on the platform, please make sure that the power supply is stable.
Power on
Insert the power plug into the power socket, then press [ ] key to turn on the
monitor.
Standby
Press [ ] key to enter the standby state.
Special Attention
- If there is no signal input after turning on the monitor, the system will auto enter the standby state a few minutes later.
- If you are not going to operate the monitor soon, please press the power button to turn off the power
Signal source selection
You can connect various devices to the monitor set and view high-quality
images. If the video device has HDMI, AV, and component output ports. You can
select one of them and connect to the corresponding input ports of the Monitor
set. After connected, turn on the device and press the [SOURCE] key to enter
the menu “Input Source” Press [▲]/[▼] key to select a signal source, and then
press a [OK] key to enter the signal input source you’ve selected.
OSD menu operation
Press [MENU) key to show the main menu on the screen:
- Press [▲]/[▼] key to select a menu from PICTURE, SOUND, TIME, OPTION.
- Press the [▲]/[▼] key to select an item in the menu.
- Press [►] key to select the sub-menu and press [OK] key to enter.
- Press [◀]/[►] key to adjust the value or setting.
- When the main menu show on the screen, press the [ MENU ]/[ EXIT ] key to exit the main menu, press [ MENU ]/[ ] key to return to the previous menu when the monitor display the sub-menu.
- During menu operation, the icons of invalid options will change into grey.

Picture Mode
- Standard – Default settings, suitable for a normal
- Soft – Soften the picture.
- Dynamic – Suitable for a bright room.
- User – Change the picture settings to your personal preference.
Contrast – Increase or decrease the contrast of the picture.
Brightness – Increase or decrease the brightness of the picture.
Saturation – Increase or decrease the color saturation of the picture.
Sharpness – Increase or decrease the sharpness of the picture.
Tint – Increase or decrease the tint/hue of the picture (for NTSC only).

Troubleshooting

The screen has no display, no audio, and the indicator isn’t on.
Check whether the power cord is connected properly. -
The image doesn’t have color.
Enter “PICTURE” to increase the color saturation. -
The monitor has no audio.

2. Press [ ] key to cancel the mute state. -
The machine prompts NO SIGNAL.
Check whether the signal cable is loose or falls off, and reconnect properly. -

Base Installation Instructions
Put the machine flat first, distinguish left and right base and base installation front and back direction, then install the bases in the bottom of the machine back cover as arrow direction in the figure. Align screw holes, then fasten screws (notice that base module has to be adjusted at figure status, otherwise it cannot be installed in.)

Use of a monitor wall mounting
- Please purchase a suitable monitor wall mount when mounting your monitor on the wall.
- Ensure that the bearing capacity of the wall for mount installation is no less than 4 times the weight of the monitor set and the wall mount so as to avoid falling.
- Please refer to the instructions provided with the monitor set and wall mount for installation.
- Make sure there is no cable or conduit in the wall section where a wall mount will be installed.
- Please entrust a professional technician to complete the installation. The company shall not be liable for accidents, personal injury or damage caused by improper installation of monitor settings.

Tatung Company of America, Inc. (“Tatung”)
warrant to you, the original commercial purchaser of this new Tatung
product (the “product”)that all parts of this Product will be free from
defects in materials or workmanship, as hereinafter provided, for one year
from the date of original purchase.
Tatung will, at our option, repair or replace the product or any part thereof,
which becomes defective, malfunctions, or otherwise fails to conform with this
warranty under normal use and service during the term of this warranty, at no
charge to you for parts and labor. Repaired or replacement products or parts
may include remanufactured or refurbished parts and components. The repaired
or replacement product will be covered by the balance of the duration
remaining on the product’s original limited warranty period.
You may obtain warranty service by contacting Tatung Customer Support at

a Return Authorization number (RMA). You will be required to provide:
- A copy of the dated sales receipt from Tatung (Proof of Purchase).
- Your Name or Company Name
- The model number and a serial number of the product.
- A description of the problem
- Your ship-to address, email address, fax number, and phone number.
Upon receipt of the RMA, you can bring or ship the Product at your expense, to
the address provided with the RMA. Please make sure that the product is pack
in a suitable carton with strength and size that will allow you to overpack to
properly secure the product. Shipping insurance is recommended should you
experience any transportation claim from the carrier you select. Tatung will
not be responsible for any loss or damages as a result of shipping in product
for service.
TATUNG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DESTRUCTION OF DATA. MEDIA OR ANY
CONTENT COMPONENT SUCH AS PHOTOS, FEEDS, TEMPLATES, ETC. FROM THE USE OR

- Defects, malfunction or failures resulting from causes beyond the control of Tatung or the manufacturer of the Product, including, but not limited to, shipping or transit accident, abuse, misuse operation contrary to furnished instructions, improper or insufficient ventilation, operations with incorrect power supplies, operation with faulty associated equipment, modification, alteration, improper servicing, acts of God, tampering or normal wear and tear;
- Cosmetic damage, such as scratch, plastic discoloration, etc. to the exterior finish during the warranty period;
- Burned-in images (screen burn) resulting from viewing of image on the display screen for an extended period of time;
- Display problems or reception interference and distortion related to echo, interference, noise, or other signal transmission and delivery/reception problems;
- Minor display imperfections within the product’s design specifications or that do not materially alter functionality.
- Any reimbursement cost for removal, installation, and set-up, including wall-mounting of
- Products on which the serial number has been altered, defaced, or removed; and
- Products purchased outside of the United
Should any Product submitted for warranty service be found ineligible for warranty service, we will provide you with an estimate of the cost of repair and will repair the product upon your request and upon receipt of payment or acceptable arrangements for payment.
THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHICH MAY BE APPLICABLE TO THE
PRODUCT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN
