Instruction manual & Warranty

Thank you for purchasing the Leopold FC900RBT mechanical bluetooth keyboard. Please read the instruction manual carefully before using FC900RBT.

Important Safety Instruction

• Long-term using
  In this case, physical disabilities can occur.
  The excessive use of the keyboard will be hard on the hands, arms, neck, shoulders, or the back. If you feel displeasure, tiredness, pain, or muscle stiffness,
  please stop using the keyboard immediately and get enoug rest.
  All these physical symptoms can occur when you are not using the keyboard.
  If you feel unwell, please stop the excessive use of the keyboard.

• Recommendation for handling the keyboard
  Please choose a flat surface as the installation location to prevent a falling accident of the keyboard. The inside of Leopold FC900RBT is a precision instrument that is equipped with an electric circuit and potential device.
  Please be careful and keep drinks and liquid, foreign substances,
  etc from being inside of the keyboard.

• Please do not disassemble.
  Do not arbitrarily disassemble, repair, and remodel the keyboard. It may result in electric shock or cut your hand. A product defect caused by a user will be claimed for a paid repair. A disassemble or assemble of the product by the user will not be eligible for customer service even during the warranty period.

Product features

• The advanced PBT Double-Shot keycap
  The Leopold FC900RBT is equipped with the advance PBT Double-Shot keycaps which are 1.5mm thickness.
  Compared to the material of ABS, PBT is more durable and has a higher wear . resistance than ABS. PBT material keycap provides not only the _light touch feeling,
  but it also provides a comfortable tactile feeling when pressing the key.
  The print quality of characters of the Double-Shot keycap can last permanently without being erased.

• The advanced Mechanical Keyboard with Cherry MX Switch Shaft is used
  The Leopold FC900RBT is an advanced Mechanical Keyboard with
  Cherry MX switch Shaft. In addition to Click tactile, Soft tactile,
  and Linear(Red/Black), the Leopold FC900RBT is suitable for Low Profile
  Red, Clear, Speed Silver which are the new switces from Cherry MX.
  The Leopold FC900RBT has a variety of shaft options, please choose the appropriate tactile keyboard according to your input preferences.
  Notice before using the product . .
  For the switches from Cherry MX, switches can have a pressure dev1at1on of
  ±10~ 15g and this figure includes operating key pressure and operating sounds. In this case, it is not defective and it is defined as normality.

• The connection method for Bluetooth 5.1 ver. & USB Type-C
  The Leopold FC900RBT supports the wireless connection of the latest version of Bluetooth 5.1 and the cable connection of USB Type-C. Also, it can provide a Multi-Pairing system for a maximum of 4 devics. For connecting to the device which does not have a Bluetooth function,
  you need the Bluetooth adapter(dongle).
  No dongle adapter is provided.

Recommended system configuration

• PC: PC compatible USB interface
• OS: Windows 10 / 8 /7 /VISTA / XP / 2000
• MAC OS is not supported

Connecting the keyboard

•  Wired connection
  CD Make sure your computer supports the Plug-and-Play operating system
  above Windows98.
  @ Insert the keyboard USB line interface into the USB interface of the computer itself. @The PC automatically recognizes the USB keyboard.
  (It takes up to 5 minutes depending on your computer spec)

•  Wireless connection (Window 10 OS)
  CD Turn on the Bluetooth function of the device that you want to pair with the keyboard. @Open the battery cover and insert AAA battery and Set the power switch to the ON position.

Multi-Pairing

1. CD Turn on the Bluetooth function of the device that you want to pair.

2. Set the power switch of the keyboard to the ON position.

3. Press the Pairing button on the back of the product by using such thin tools.

4. Settings Bluetooth and other devices settings

5. Add Bluetooth or another device

6. Click Bluetooth

7. Click FC900RBT

8. Type in Pin code and press Enter

9. Completed

10. CD Turn on the Bluetooth function of the device that you want to pair.

11. Set the power switch of the keyboard to the ON position.

12. Aher pressing Fn + A~F for 2 seconds,

13. press the Pairing button on the back of the device.

14. Select FC900RBT

15. Waiting to pair

16. Completed

• The initial device connected with Bluetooth is assigned to Pairing Device A.
• When you disconnect the cable(USB mode), the keyboard will be automatically connected to Pairing Device A. If there is no device assigned to Device A, it will be automatically connected to the next device.
• When BT mode➔ USB mode (FN + G)
• FN + Tab function is to delete all the pairing devices from FC900RBT.
• Once you delete, you have to connect the device to FC900RBT even though your device remembers FC900RBT.

DIP Switch Setting

Note: Please separate the USB from the computer, then set the DIP switch. Error operation and failure can occur in the state of connecting the USB line due to changing the DIP switch.

1. FN key setting (Wireless)

Cautions in use

1. When pairing FC900RBT with another PC, while having a connection with one PC, the initial connection will be disconnected.
2. Even though you can see settings➔Bluetooth and other devices settings➔Mouse, keyboard, &pen➔ FC900RBT paired, there is a possibility that the information on the keyboard will be deleted. In this case, you should remove FC900RBT from the PC, and then try to pair it with the PC again. Also, Windows OS Update may result in the same situation, then you can remove FC900RBT from the PC and try to pair it with the PC again.
3. When connecting USB dongle, you are encouraged to use USB 2.0 port. It may result in an unstable connection or disconnection because of the interference when you use the USB 3.0 port.
4. lfthere are some obstacles between the connected device such as PC or laptop and the keyboard, it may result in unstable connection or disconnection. Please use the keyboard without obstacles such as a magnetic material.
5. If any PC or laptop connected to the keyboard uses a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band, it may result in unstable connection or disconnection. In this case, please turn off the Wi-Fi of the device connected to the keyboard, or change it to 5GHz.
6. When the connection is unstable because of the interference, it may cause an unexpected malfunction. In this case, please change the USB dongle setting (Remove the device and reconnect), or replace another dongle.
7. Unintended loss of connection during normal operation can lead to power mode or connection error. When this occurs, please turn off the ‘power mode’ in Window OS or remove the dongle device and reconnect.
8. The dongle adaptor is not a basic product composition.

Warranty

This warranty covers a one-year warranty from the time of purchase.
If you suspect the product defect within a week of purchase, please contact us first. Any issues that occur after a first week of handling the product defect will be repaired by the appropriate process, regardless of where the keyboard is purchased.

1. If the after sales service is required, the purchaser should provide the evidence to confirm the purchase of the keyboard.
2. This warranty is valid only for mechanical keyboards sold and distributed through Leopold in USA.
3. This warranty applies only to the products and is not liable for any direct or indirect damage to customer during use.
4. The after sales service will be free for one year after purchasing the product. After the warranty is expired, the service will be paid.
5. Basic components (Spare key caps, cables, a plastic cover, etc.) and basic keycaps on the keyboard are expendables and not warranted.
6. The manufacturer (Importer) and dealers do not provide free after sales service for the following cases.

• In case of products imported by domestic importers, products imported directly from overseas, and parallel imports
• In case of products disassembled or assembled by the user or when the problem is caused by remodeling and random modification.
• When unpredictable accidents such as earthquakes, storm and flood cause problems with the product.
• When the problems not mentioned in this warranty occur.
