USER MANUAL

PLEASE READ AND SAVE THESE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for envisaged purposes.

  2. This appliance is not for professional use.

  3. Do not use the scale outdoors.

  4. Keep the appliance away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges.

  5. Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact a qualified technician.

  6. In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

  7. Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the device.
    WARNING! Do not allow small children to play with the packaging as there is a danger of suffocation!

  8. When the display shows “Lo” it is indicated that the battery power is very low. Please replace the batteries. Low battery power or defective batteries may cause inaccurate results or other errors.

  9. Use the appliance only on a hard, flat and dry surface.

  10. Do not place the scale under wet, hot & cold conditions.

  11. Clean the appliance with a dampened cloth and a mild detergent.

  12. Avoid excessive impact or vibration on the appliance.

  13. If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time, remove the batteries before storage to avoid a battery fluid leakage.

USING THE APPLIANCE
INSERTING THE BATTERIES:

  1. Open the battery compartment lid on the bottom of the scale.
  2. Insert 2 x MA batteries into the battery compartment with the correct polarity.

**   WARNING** :

  •  Do not expose the batteries to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
  • Keep batteries away from children. Batteries may be swallowed, which can be life-threatening. If a battery has been swallowed, seek medical help immediately.
  • If the device is not used for a prolonged period of time, please remove the batteries in order to prevent leakage of battery acid.

SELECTION OF WEIGHT MFASURFMFNT UNIT
Select the desired measurement unit in kg or lb., by pressing the “UNIT” button on the bottom side of the scale.

  1.  Only place the appliance on a hard, flat, dry surface. Avoid placing it on the carpet or on soft surfaces.

  2. Switch on the scales by pressing lightly with your foot or toes on the surface and wait a few moments

  3. “0.0” will appear on the LED. Step with both feet onto the scale. The display will flash for a few moments, then stabilize and displays the weight.

AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF:
The device will turn off automatically if no operation is detected for about 10 seconds.
I NOTE : In case the weight lies above the allowed maximum weight the signal of error “Error” will appear on the LED display.

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
This scale offers you the possibility of sending the calculated data via Bluetooth to your smartphone or tablet PC. You can download the free app, OKOK•International, via the Apple Store or the Google Play Store.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. IOS 7.0 or higher + Bluetooth 4.0 or higher
  2. Android 4.3 or higher + Bluetooth 4.0 or higher

CONNECTING THE sok, F WITH YOUR DRIFT

  1. Download and install the “OKOK-Intemationar application from the corresponding application store.

  2. Start the application. Log in (if you are already registered) or create a new user by entering the user details (e-mail, password) in the application.

  3.  Press “Pair on the Device menu to connect the devices to each other

  4. Switch on the scale by gently exerting pressure on the weighing surface with your foot.

  5. The scale and the application will be connected automatically.

  6. Perform the measurement as described in the section, “MEASUREMENT AND ANALYSIS”

MEASUREMENT AND ANALYSIS
Firstly, press “Go” in the application to begin the weight measurement process. After the measurement is completed, the application will display your profile and all parameters, such as.

  • The weight in the previously selected unit(kg/lbs)
  • The Body Mass Index
  • The body fat proportion in %
  • The proportion of muscle mass in 0/0
  • The proportion of body fluid 0/0
  • The visceral fat
  • The bone weight
  • The basal metabolic rate of the daily energy requirement in kcal

Selecting one of the parameters displays information about it, as well as an evaluation of your results according to the set values.

EVALUATION OF RESULTS

BODY MASS INDEX (BMI)

BMI is broadly used to assess if a person is at a healthy weight for his or her height because BMI is a number based on ones’ weight and height. With BMI number, a person can assess if he or she is at risk for health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, etc. Generally, the following table gives a usually reference for health situation assessment using BMI.

PERCENTAGE OF VISCERAL FAT (indicative prices)
Visceral fat is fat located in the abdominal cavity, which surrounds the internal organs. To a certain degree, it can be attributed to abdominal fat. It is not directly visible but comprises a part of the abdominal volume. This fat acts as a reserve during food shortages.
BASIC METABOLIC RATE BMR
(Basal Metabolic Rate / Energy expenditure). The Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) characterizes the energy expenditure. The energy expenditure is used to describe the amount of energy in KCAL that the body requires per day during complete rest, at an indifferent temperature (28-30 °C), and on an empty stomach for the maintenance of its function (e.g. while sleeping). CLEANING
CAUTION:

  1. Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
  2. Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
  3. Clean the appliance with a slightly moist cloth. Make sure that no humidity or water seeps into the device!
  4. Use a commercially sold detergent or soap for cleaning.
  5. Dry the device well after cleaning with a dry and soft cloth.

STORAGE

  1. Always store the appliance away from children.
  2. Always store the appliance in a safe and clean place. For the best protection of the device, store it in its original packaging.
