INTRODUCTION AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for purchasing our alphatronics LED TV. This is a short version of our user manual. If you would like more information or need more detailed instructions, please visit our website: www.alphatronics.de
Safety
For your own safety and to prevent unnecessary damage from your device, please
read and observe the following safety instructions:
Appropriate use and environmental conditions:
This TV is intended exclusively for the reception and reproduction of image
and sound images. It must not be operated in rooms with high humidity (e.B.
bath or sauna). The warranty is only granted for use in the said permitted
environment. When used outdoors, make sure it is protected from moisture
(rain, drip, and splashing water). High humidity leads to creep currents in
the device. This can lead to a danger of contact with voltages or a fire.
If you have brought the device out of the cold into a warm environment, leave
it off for about an hour due to the possible formation of condensation
moisture.
Do not place liquid-filled objects or burning candles on the device.
Depending on the selected mounting or stand solution, there is a risk of
crushing between the TV housing and the stand. When rotating the TV, make sure
that there are no fingers or objects in this area.
Batteries pose a potential choking hazard. Do not allow children to open the
battery storage compartment.
Transport:
Touch the device at the bottom and top of the chassis edges.
The display is made of glass or plastic and can break if treated improperly.
In the case of damages caused by external influence, no guarantee is granted.
Power supply:
Incorrect voltages can damage the device. This device may only be connected to
a power supply network with the voltage indicated on the type plate by means
of a correct 12V device connection cable or attached power cable. The power
plug of the TV must be easily accessible so that the device can be
disconnected from the mains at any time. If you unplug the power plug, do not
pull it on the cable, but on the plug. The cables in the power plug could be
damaged and cause a short circuit when plugged in.
Route the power cord so that it cannot be damaged. The power cord must not be
bent, laid over sharp edges, not committed, and not exposed to chemicals – the
latter applies to the entire device! A power cord with damaged insulation can
cause electric shocks and poses a fire hazard.
Air circulation and high temperatures:
The ventilation slots on the rear of the device must always remain free.
Please do not put newspapers or doily on/over the TV. On the side and above,
at least 2 cm of free space for air circulation must be ensured when the
device is placed in a cupboard or shelf or hung. Like any electronic device,
your TV needs air to cool in operation. If the air circulation is impeded,
fires can occur.
Place the TV with stand only on a flat, stable, horizontal underlay. The
device should not protrude, especially when located in or on furniture at the
front.
Set the device so that it is not exposed to direct sunlight or any additional
heating by radiators.
Avoid that metal parts, needles, paper clips, liquids, wax, or the like get
into the interior of the device through the ventilation slots of the rear
wall. This leads to short-term in the device and thus possibly to a fire.
Should something ever get inside the device, immediately pull the power plug
of the device and inform the customer service for inspection.
Repairs and accessories:
Do not remove the rear panel of the TV set yourself. Leave repair and service
work exclusively to authorized television technicians.
Note according to (EU) 2019/2021:
As soon as you select a configuration on your television or make settings that
can increase the energy consumption compared to the „standardstate“, you will
be informed of this by a corresponding message. You can only continue with the
setting or only save it if you confirm the message accordingly.
Clean:
Only clean the TV set, the display, and the remote control with a damp, soft,
and clean cloth without any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.
Note on the LED display:
The TV set with LED display that you have purchased meets the highest quality
requirements and has been checked for pixel errors. Despite the utmost care in
the manufacture of the displays, for technological reasons, it cannot be 100%
ruled out that pixels may have defects.
Recycling:
The EU Directive 2012/19 / EU regulates the proper return, treatment, and
recycling of used electronic devices. Old electronic devices must therefore be
disposed of
separately. Please do not dispose of this device with normal household waste!
You can get your device free of charge at designated collection points or, if
necessary, at your
Hand in a specialist dealer if you buy a comparable new device.
According to the Battery Ordinance, used batteries may no longer be disposed
of with household waste be disposed of. Throw used batteries free of charge in
the shops set up
collecting container.
You can find out more about recycling (also for countries outside the EU) from
your local government.
