Congratulations and many thanks for purchasing our alphatronics product.
This user manual should help with you with handling and operating the product. Please read the instructions for use carefully. Keep these instructions for the entire service life of the product, and pass them on to any subsequent users or owners. Please ensure that the packaging content is complete, and make sure that there are no faulty or damaged parts.

Intended use

This product is a multimedia keyboard with an integrated touchpad and 2.4 Ghz wireless technology. To use the keyboard, the enclosed USB wireless adapter must be plugged into the corresponding device (the one you wish to operate). The transmission range is up to 10 metres away.

General safety and maintenance instructions

For your own safety and to avoid unnecessary damage to your headphones, please read and observe the following safety instructions:

• This product is intended for private, non-commercial household use.
• This is an electronic product, which should be kept out of reach of children!
• This product is not intended for use by anyone (including children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental ability, or with limited experience and/or limited knowledge, unless they are supervised by someone responsible for their safety, or they receive instruction from them regarding the use of the equipment.
• Keep the product away from moisture, water, rain, snow, and drizzle. Only use the product in a dry environment.
• Make sure that no liquid gets into the product.
• Keep the product away from open fires and hot surfaces.
• Do not insert any foreign objects into the product connections or openings.
• Do not disassemble the product into pieces. The device does not contain any user-serviceable parts.

Additional battery information

• Do not throw batteries into fire. Disposing of batteries in fire or hot ovens, mechanical shredding and cutting the battery can all lead to explosions.
• Do not charge, disassemble or short-circuit batteries. Risk of explosion!
• If you suspect that a battery has been swallowed or entered the body by any other means, immediately contact a doctor.
• Do not touch batteries that have leaked. If you do come into contact with battery fluid, thoroughly wash the affected area with plenty of clean water. If the leaked battery fluid causes a skin reaction or gets in your eyes, immediately contact a doctor.

Commissioning

1. Open the battery compartment on the underneath of the keyboard (slide the cover upwards)
2. Insert 2 x AAA batteries (LR03) into the battery compartment with the polarity pictured. Remove the wireless adapter and close the battery compartment.
3. Shift the switch on the upper edge of the keyboard to the “ON” position.
4. Plug the wireless adapter into a USB socket on the device you wish to operate.
5. After a few seconds the connection between adapter and keyboard will be automatically established, and the keyboard is ready to use.

Tip!
If the keyboard does not automatically connect to the adapter, you can force the pairing process using the command ESC + K.

Please note! Battery capacity display
When switching on the keyboard, the LED will briefly turn red before turning off again. If the LED stays red permanently, the batteries will need to be replaced soon.

Touchpad

The built-in touch pad supports classic multi-touch gestures.

Please note! Please be aware that different gestures can be used depending on the operating system.

Energy-saving mode

To ensure the longest possible battery life, the keyboard has an energy saving mode. This is activated automatically when the keyboard has not been used for 10 minutes. Press any key to return the keyboard to active mode.

Cleaning

Only clean this product with a lint-free, slightly damp cloth, and do not use any harsh cleaning agents. Take particular care to ensure that no water (no fluid/moisture) gets into the product.

Disposal
Electrical and electronic devices and batteries may not be disposed of in household waste. The consumer is legally obligated to return electrical and electronic devices and batteries to public collection points set up for this purpose or to the original point of sale when they reach the end of their service life. Individual state laws regulates the specifics of this. The symbol on the product, the operating manual and the packaging will refer to this infor-mation.
