Read this manual carefully before using the Smartwatch QIN XW PRO to ensure proper, safe & correct use and keep it for future reference.
Our explanations are based on the default settings of the QIN XW PRO.

• Some points may vary slightly depending on your region, provider, or smartphone software, and may also vary from your smartphone itself. Furthermore, we reserve the right to make changes without prior notice.

• Content that requires high CPU and RAM performance for processing will impact the overall performance of the Smartwatch QIN XW PRO.

• XLYNE does not assume any liability for performance issues caused by the incorrect use of the smartwatch.

• XLYNE shall not be liable for any failure or loss of performance or incompatibility caused by changes in registry settings or modified operating system software. Warning! Unofficial hacks and modifications to the operating system may cause the QIN XW PRO or some features to stop working as intended.

• Software, sound sources, wallpapers, images, and other media on this QIN XW PRO are subject to a limited use license agreement. Extracting and using these materials for
  commercial or other purposes is a violation of copyright laws. The user takes full responsibility for the illegal use of media.

• Please note that, depending on the provider tariff, additional charges may apply for mobile data services such as message delivery, upload, and download of content, automatic synchronization, or use of location services.

• Changing the operating system of the QIN XW PRO may cause the QIN XW PRO to malfunction or damage or loss of data. Acts such as operating system hacks violate your license agreement with XLYNE and result in the warranty being void.

DUST PROTECTION & PROTECTION FROM WATER

The watch may be damaged if water or dust enters. Keep these tips in mind to prevent damage to the device and ensure the smartwatch’s water and dust resistance. Other liquids are not covered by these user notices.

• The QIN XW PRO model is not suitable for use in water. Only splash protection in case of rain or when washing the hands is available, for this reason, the QIN XW PRO
  should be protected from water in any case.

• Do not expose the smartwatch to running water from the faucet, no running water, no waves.

• If the watch or your hand is moist, dry everything carefully, only then you can use the QIN XW PRO again.

• If the watch accidentally comes into contact with fresh water, ensure a thorough drying with a clean cloth. If the smartwatch QIN XW PRO is not dried as described, it may cause damage to the device.

• If the smartwatch falls down or is shaken by a violent blow, water and dust protection may be lost and the watch may be damaged.

• If the smartwatch QIN XW PRO comes into intense contact with liquids, water, or the like, the watch may no longer function properly. Even if your accessories are splashproof, you should not expose them unnecessarily to excessive dust, sand, and mud or use it in humid environments with extremely high or low temperatures. All supplied accessories, such as the charging cable, are not dust- and water-proof as individual components. Defects or damage due to improper use or misuse of the accessories included in the scope of delivery is not covered by your warranty claim.

PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING

To prevent malfunctions of the QIN XW  RO as well as irritation of the skin or damage caused by a leaking battery, make sure that the QIN XW PRO is not exposed to excessively high or low temperatures. If wearing the watch is unpleasant, immediately remove the smartwatch from your arm and do not use it for the time being.

First Steps

INTRODUCTION

Using the Bluetooth® connection, the app* “XWFit” and with the smartphone, you synchronize the input of push messages from your mobile device on the QIN XW PRO. You will be informed about the receipt of SMS messages, calls, messages from Facebook or WhatsApp, etc. The QIN XW PRO is connected via Bluetooth® to your internet-enabled phone or tablet with the Android™ and iOS operating systems. For optimal performance and functionality, use the QIN XW PRO with the provided bracelet.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

Make sure the product carton contains the following accessories

• QIN XW PRO
• Charging cable
• Short instruction
• Safety instructions

The related items are intended for use with this QIN XW PRO model only and may not be used with other models or devices. We reserve the right to make changes to the design and technical data without prior notice. Accessories supplied with the QIN XW PRO may vary by region. Use only XLYNE-approved accessories. If you use unauthorized accessories, it could result in performance loss and malfunctions that are not covered by the warranty. Changes to the availability of all accessories are reserved and depend on the manufacturer. For more information on available accessories, please contact XLYNE customer service on request.

CHARGING

Before using your QIN XW PRO for the first time, you should fully charge the battery of the QIN XW PRO. Use the supplied charging cable.

• Place the end of the charging cable with the magnetic contacts to the magnetic charging contact of the smartwatch according to the fit.
• Connect the other end of the cable to a charging adapter or the USB port of a powered-on computer.
• Make sure the charger or computer is connected to a power/power outlet. Attention! Detection on the PC/computer and starting the recharge process can take up to 5 minutes.

Please note that the charging source has the following requirements: amperage between 0.5A and 1A and voltage permanent 5V. This information can be found on every CE- certified charging plug.

The battery level of your QIN XW PRO can be read on the watch screen. The QIN XW PRO notifies you when the battery level is low. In this case, recharge the Watch as soon as possible. Information on battery consumption

• The operating time of the battery is correlated with your usage behavior and the condition of the battery.
• The battery is subject to signs of wear and tear. Note that running multiple applications or functions at the same time reduces battery life. When at rest, the battery charge is also reduced – even if the device is not actively used.
• Over time, as with all consumables, there may be a reduction in battery capacity

SWITCHING THE CLOCK ON AND OFF

To turn on the QIN XW PRO:
Hold down the left button of the QIN XW PRO for about 5 seconds until the screen of the QIN XW PRO lights up.
To turn off the QIN XW PRO: Hold down the left button of the QIN XW PRO for about 5 seconds until the QIN XW PRO turns off.
Note: Follow all warnings and instructions from authorized people in areas where wireless devices are prohibited. You should refrain from using the aircraft during take-off and landing and use it in certain hospital areas.

Switching the screen on and off
To activate the screen, press the left button. After the first installation of the watch, you can activate also the Wake-Up Gesture. The display will brighten when flipping your wrist.
The screen turns on when you tilt your arm. The screen turns off automatically after the clock is inactive.

TECHNICAL DATA

Basic use

SCREEN CONTROL
The screen control works by touching the screen with the fingertip and with the two side buttons. Swipe your fingertip to the left or right to get to the watch’s various menu options. Press the left button of the watch to return to the main screen. The right button of the watch takes you to the previous screen.

FUNCTIONS OF THE QIN XW PRO

Main screen (Watch screen)
The date and time of the watch are automatically synchronized when the watch is paired with your smartphone. You can set your preferred Watchface in the XWFit app*. (Page 28)

Notification
You can see the last six messages received here. Tap on the symbol to read the various messages. In the XWFit App you can set which apps can send messages to the QIN XW PRO. (Page 33)
Pedometer
This screen shows you your current steps. The step counter always resets at 00:00 a.m. midnight. For a history, you can look in the XWFit app . (Page 31)
Training
The watch is able to record your training progress, so you can track your completed training units. The heart rate is recorded continuously during the activity recording.
Select the “Training” function on your watch. Then choose your desired sport. The following modes are available: jogging, climbing, hiking, cycling, soccer, basketball, table tennis, and badminton. The watch starts recording immediately. When you want to pause or stop the recording, swipe the screen from right to left. Now you can either continue the recording or stop the recording.

Heart rate and blood pressure measuring
The heart rate is recorded automatically if you have set it in the XWFit app . (page 33)
Otherwise, you will see your current heart rate on the watch when you have selected this screen. To do this, hold your arm still and wait about 15 seconds. The current heart rate is now displayed. Afterward, the screen deactivates. The blood pressure is not measured automatically and cannot be recorded permanently. If you want to measure the blood pressure, navigate to the blood pressure screen and wait for a min. 25 seconds. After the final blood pressure value is displayed, the watch vibrates and the display is deactivated again.
You can also measure your blood pressure with the XWFit app . Then the value is saved in the app. (page 32)
Please note that the QIN XW PRO is not a medical device. The recordings are for private use only. If you feel uncomfortable, consult a doctor.

Sleep

The watch is able to monitor your sleep quality. The watch also records your sleeping habits. Sleep monitoring takes place automatically between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
The exact sleep phases can be found in your XWFit app *. (see page 31)

Here you can find the following additional functions of the QIN XW PRO: timer, stopwatch, missed calls, remote music control, lock display, smartphone finder, and turn off the watch.

Timer
Set your desired countdown time. You can set the hours, minutes, and seconds. Then press start. When the countdown has finished, the watch will vibrate.
Stopwatch
You can stop a time with the QIN XW PRO. You also have the option of stopping up to nine lap times.
Just tap start. For lap time, tap the stopwatch icon. With a pause, you interrupt the measurement.
If you have paused the measurement, you can either continue or reset the stopwatch.
Missed calls

Missed calls will be displayed here.

Music control
You can use the QIN XW PRO to remotely control the music you are playing on your smartphone. Please note that you may control the standard music program only on your smartphone.
Lock screen
You can lock the screen. After that, you can only use the touchscreen if you have pressed the button on the right-hand side beforehand.
Smartphone finder
If you’ve misplaced your phone but it’s within Bluetooth range, you can use this feature to make it vibrate.
Turn off
The clock can be switched off. To turn on the clock, press and hold the button on the side for approx. 5 seconds.

Quick menu

You can find the quick menu by swiping from top to bottom on the main screen (clock screen). The quick menu offers you the following settings: do not disturb mode, change the watch face, battery saving mode, quick settings, and the QR code to download the XWFit app *.
The quick menu also provides information on the connection status and the battery level of the QIN XW PRO. You exit the quick menu by swiping upwards across the screen.

In the quick settings, you can set the brightness and the screen time (illumination duration). You can also perform a reset or turn off the clock.

XWFit App*

*Note on app usage and data processing: Your smartwatch can connect to your smartphone using a variety of Android or iOS apps, and can process personal information (sensor data, such as location data, etc.). We are neither the developer nor the operator of these apps and thus we have no influence or access to the processed data. Before each installation of an app please read carefully the privacy information in the App Store of the respective operator.

For your QIN XW PRO to work properly, you must first install the latest version of the “XWFit*” application on your smartphone. You can find the app in your respective app store or by scanning the following QR code with your smartphone.

Give the XWFit app* all permissions (e.g. location sharing) in your smartphone settings and prevent the app from closing in the background. For a stable Bluetooth connection, the location service must be permanently enabled.

ESTABLISH BLUETOOTH CONNECTION

To take advantage of the full functionality of the app and watch, make sure your QIN XW PRO is switched on, Bluetooth® is enabled on your device, and location service is activated. Now launch the app. Registration is not necessary as your user data such as name, height, weight, etc. are only saved locally on your device. For the first start, you have to confirm the data protection declaration and the terms of use.

You can pair your switched-on QIN XW PRO with the app by pressing the plus symbol in the app. (Fig. 1)

Note: Only pair the QIN XW PRO via the XWFit * app. If you have paired the watch via the Bluetooth menu of your smartphone, disconnect the watch there beforehand. For Android devices, it is necessary that all permissions are granted and the location service is activated. Otherwise, no Bluetooth devices can be paired nearby.

Select your QIN XW PRO. The connection is made automatically. You can recognize a successful connection by the fact that the time on your QIN XW PRO is correctly synchronized. The app should now also display the following (Fig. 2):

Notes on using Bluetooth®

• If you want to connect your QIN XW PRO to another Bluetooth®-enabled device, keep the two devices close together to avoid problems.

• There should be no persons, buildings, walls or other obstacles between your QIN XW PRO and the connected device.

• Touching the watch with some Bluetooth® antennas of a connected mobile device must be avoided.

• Note that the QIN XW PRO and the other cellular device are within the 7 m connection range. The function distance may vary depending on the environment.

• For data transfer, you only use trusted and properly secured devices. If there are obstacles between the devices, the range may decrease.

• The use of the Bluetooth® function for non-legal purposes is prohibited: copying, eavesdropping, etc. XLYNE accepts no responsibility for the consequences of illegal use
  of the Bluetooth ® function.

• Bluetooth® uses the same frequency as some devices or machines with low transmitting power in the industry or medical sector. For this reason, some devices may interfere with a Bluetooth ® connection near such products.

• XLYNE is not responsible for data loss of data sent or received using the Bluetooth® function. For example, through abusive data fishing.

App structure

START PAGE
On the start page of the app, you can see your data e.g. Steps, calories burned, distance traveled, heart rate, sleep, exercise, blood pressure and if you selected the gender female, the cycle monitor. Tapping on the respective bar takes you to the detailed view. At the top right is the button for manually synchronizing the clock. (Fig. 3)
You have the option to sort or hide the postcards you want.
At the bottom of the app, you will find the selection items “Data”, “Device” and “Mine”. (Fig. 3)
The selection point “Data” shows you the already explained start page.
The selection item “Device” offers further settings for your QIN XW PRO. (see page 33)
Under the “Mine” option you will find the settings for your personal user profile and your defined goals. (see page 34)

FUNCTIONS OF THE START PAGE

Steps / Calories / Distance: If you tap on one of these cards, you get to the detailed view. Here you can see your detailed daily progress, when and how many steps you took. You can also call up past days.
Heart rate: If you have activated continuous heart rate measurement (page 33), you can see the daily progress of the individual measurements here.
Sleep: Your sleep is automatically recorded when you lie down in the evening. The next day you will see the details of your sleep here. Waking phases, deep sleep and light sleep phases. Please note that a sleep recording can only be made at night. Recording over the day is not possible.
Sports: If you want to accurately record your jogging, you can use the XWFit app to record the GPS coordinates. To do this, you need to take your smartphone with you. The QIN XW PRO does not have its own GPS sensor.
Blood pressure: You can use the XWFit app to take a manual blood pressure measurement, which is then saved permanently in the app *. To start a measurement, tap on “Start measurement”.
Physiological cycle monitor: If you have selected “female” as your gender, you have the option of a female cycle monitor. Here you can set the following things:
Menstrual Length: How long is your usual menstrual period in days.
Period length: How many days are between the end of menstruation (menstrual bleeding) and the beginning of menstruation (menstrual bleeding).
Last menstruation: The date when your last menstrual period started should be set here.
Device reminder: You can have the current phase in the menstrual cycle displayed on your QIN XW PRO. To do this, activate the device reminder. The watch will show you a message 48 hours before the start of your menstrual period.

DEVICE

In the “Device” menu, you find further settings for your QIN XW PRO. (Fig. 4)
Notifications: Select your desired notifications.
When activated, those notifications are pushed onto the smartwatch.
Reminder settings: You can set reminders for different occasions such as sedentary, drinking, alarm, or medical bills.
Continuous HR monitoring: When activated, your QIN XW PRO will monitor your heart rate every five minutes. This setting can affect your battery runtime.
Raise your wrist: When activated, the screen brightens, when flipping your wrist.
Find device: If you misplaced your QIN XW PRO but it is still in Bluetooth signal range, you can let your smartwatch vibrate.
Take a photo: This function starts the camera application of the XWFit app *. Put your smartphone in the desired position. The QIN XW  PRO will now show you a camera symbol. If you touch the symbol, the remote is activated. A photo is taken after three seconds.
More settings: Here you can select your wearing side (wrist side) where you wear your QIN XW PRO. You can also set the units and the time format. If you want to reset your clock, you will find the setting you want here.
Unbind: This will disconnect the QIN XW FIT from your smartphone. After that, you have to reconnect the watch manually. (Page 29)

FIRMWARE-UPDATE

More settings: You can find the current firmware version by selecting “More Settings” on the previous screen, which will take you to the screen shown in Figure 5. If you have the latest firmware version installed on your device, it will say “Latest” next to your version and you do not need to do anything else. Otherwise, you can manually update your software by clicking on the “Firmware Update” field. For this, you just need to follow the steps shown and your device will receive the latest update.
Note: If the connection to the device on iOS does not work after the update, remove the Qin XW PRO from the Bluetooth settings of the iPhone (“Ignore device”). You can then reestablish the connection via the XWFit app. Confirm the pairing and access to messages. Pairing must be done via the XWFit app.

MINE

In the “Mine” menu, you can change your personal details and your “target settings”. Under “More” you will find the version number of the app *, the data protection declaration, and the terms of use. (Fig. 6)

If you tap the avatar icon, you can select the following settings. (Fig. 7) Please specify your personal data as accurately as possible. This improves the measurements and records. All data is only available locally saved on your device.
Note: To make blood pressure results more personal, one-time calibration is required. We recommend using a medical device first and inputting the values into the XWFit app*. Please note that the QIN XW PRO is not a medical device, the records are for use only for private use. If you feel uncomfortable, consult a doctor.

APPLE HEALTH SYNCHRONISATION

If you notice that you have too many steps in the Apple Health app, it may be because the steps of your iPhone and the QIN XW PRO are added together and both are counted. To prevent this, you can deactivate the step recording of your iPhone. Only the steps of the QIN XW PRO are counted. In the iPhone, go to “Settings” -> “Privacy” -> “Motion & Fitness”. Deactivate the “Fitness Tracking” here. (Fig. 8) Now the iPhone step recording is deactivated.

WATCH STRAP SHORTENING

QIN XW PRO 54021

In order to shorten your bracelet to the desired length, you have to remove unneeded connecting pieces. To do this, you need to remove the pins that hold the connectors together. You can recognize this by the small holes on the side.
Position the needle so that it meets a hole. Now, you push the pinout.

QIN XW PRO 570400

A Milanese bracelet is easily adjustable. Simply slide a small screwdriver or similar tool into the folding bracket of the clasp as shown in the picture. Lift the bracket and adjust the clasp to the desired position. Make sure the clasp snaps into one of the notches on the back of the strap, this is very important. Now push the hinged bracket back down to its original position.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read this section carefully and follow all instructions so that you can enjoy your QIN XW PRO for a long time.
Medical information
When selecting our materials, we take great care to ensure that they comply with applicable regulations. However, it can happen that a few people are allergic to materials that come into contact with the skin. Also, too tight or loose wearing of the watch on the wrist can lead to skin irritations or chafing. We recommend consulting a doctor in the event that the skin under the watch itches, redness, or other skin irritations occur. The magnetic charging cable of this Smartwatch contains magnets. The heart rate monitor and app of this product are not medical devices and are intended for personal fitness only.

Dangers for children and persons in need of help
This device may be used by children eight (8) years of age and older and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge, who are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and have understood the resulting hazards. Children are not allowed to play with the clock.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
The danger of suffocation contains small parts that can be swallowed.
Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

Electromagnetic compatibility

Very strong magnetic fields can lead to deviations in the transmission, so these should be avoided. Failure to do so may result in malfunction or damage to the QIN XW PRO.

Battery

A rechargeable battery is a very sensitive component, so the following instructions should be followed very carefully. The battery cannot be removed or replaced. You should also keep your QIN XW PRO away from heat sources. Even environments with hot temperatures should be avoided. The QIN XW PRO should never be broken open or burned. Please use only the supplied cable for charging and connect it to certified power sources. The voltage and current of the source should not exceed 5V/2A. Charging should never be carried out near heat sources as overheating or fire may occur. If these instructions are disregarded, the service life of the battery may be severely reduced and may result in damage to the QIN XW PRO.

Water-resistance
The following table shows the situations in which your QIN XW PRO can be used.

REPAIR, GUARANTEE, AND DISPOSAL

Repair

If an error or damage occurs on your Smartwatch which is not explained in the descriptions of this operating manual, please contact customer service.
Do not attempt to repair or modify the hardware yourself.
Do not force open the smartwatch.
If you act contrary to these instructions, the warranty claim is void!

Guarantee

For the QIN XW PRO, XLYNE GmbH offers a 24-month warranty. The warranty period begins with the date of sale (receipt, receipt, delivery note). Within 24 months, all defects due to material or functional defects will be repaired free of charge. This does not apply to improper handlings such as falls, impacts, or the like.
Disposal of the packaging
It is recommended to keep the packaging of the Smartwatch in a safe place. When disposing of the product, make sure that the packaging materials (cardboard to waste paper, foils to recyclable materials) are separated according to type.
Disposal of the smartwatch
(Applicable within Europe in all countries with systems for the separate collection of recyclable materials)

This symbol indicates that this product must not be disposed of with household waste in accordance with the Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (2012/19/EU) and national laws. This product must be delivered to a designated collection point. This may be done, for example, by returning a similar product when it is purchased or by handing it over to an authorized collection point for the reprocessing of WEEE. Improper handling of waste equipment may have adverse effects on the environment and human health due to potentially hazardous substances often found in WEEE. By properly disposing of this product, you also contribute to the effective use of natural resources. Information on collection points for old appliances can be obtained from your city administration, the public waste disposal authority, an authorized body for the disposal of old electrical and electronic appliances or your waste collection service.
As a consumer, you are legally obliged to dispose of all batteries and accumulators, regardless of whether they contain harmful substances or not, at a collection point in your municipality/city district or in the trade, so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Return the Smartwatch to your collection point completely (with the battery) and only when discharged.
