Select CC852 Quick Programming Guide
Setting the time
- Press and hold the @ and @ buttons to set the time.
- Firstly, you will need to set the current day of the week. The number ‘l’ will flash beneath the time. T represents Monday, ’21 represents Tuesday and so on. Use the @ and ® buttons to move between the days and press@ to confirm the current day.
- Next, the hours will flash. Use the @ and @ buttons to cycle through the hours and press@ to confirm. (There is an option to switch between 24/12 hr settings in the main menu, which can be set later.)AM
- After this, the minutes will flash. Use the@ and@ buttons to cycle through the minutes and press§ to finish and accept the changes.
Setting a heating schedule

Press § to go to the programming screen.

The number ‘1’ will flash, indicating that Monday is selected. You can use the@ and ® buttons to cycle through the days. Press@ to confirm which doy you want to program. (As you move between days, the schedule assigned to each day – e.g., PO, Pl, P2 etc – may change to indicate what is currently programmed for each day.)

After you conf irm the day, the program number will flash. You can use the @ and @ buttons to switch between the different heating programs, PO, Pl, P2 and so on.

Each black bar represents a Comfort heating period. Hours without a black bar a re set to an Economy heating period.

Programs PO – P7 are pre-set and cannot be altered. If you want to use one of these schedules, navigate to your chosen program and press @ to confi rm. The thermostat will then move to the next day. Repeat this process until all days
have been assigned a program, then finally press ~ to save and exit -
Programs P8 – P15 can be customised however you like. If you want to use one of these

Once you hove selected o program from P8 – P15, o flashing block triangle will appear at the top of the programming clock face. Use the @ and @ buttons to move the cursor and select the hour you want to start programming from, then press@ to confirm.schedules, navigate to your chosen program number and press @ to confirm.

The start time for your schedule will then appear on the screen. Press the @ button to assign a Comfort heat level to the hour, or press the @ button to assign an Economy heat level to the hour. When a Comfort timeslot is set, a black bar will appear for the hour. For an Economy heat level, no bar is visible. Continue assigning Comfort or Economy time slots for each hour until you are happy with your settings, then press@ to confirm.

The programming screen will then move to day 2. Repeat the previous steps until all days are programmed then press@ to save and exit
Setting Comfort an Economy temperatures
- To set the Comfort temperature, press and hold the@ button. The temperature will flash. Press the @ and @ buttons to increase or decrease the temperature, then press ~ to confirm.
- To set the Economy temperature, press and hold the ® button. The temperature will flash. Press the @ and @ buttons to increase or decrease the temperature, then press@ to confirm
- Please note: The minimum temperature for Economy mode is 5 C and the minimum temperature for Comfort mode is 7 C. If Economy is set higher than Comfort, the thermostat will automatically increase the Comfort temperature to be 2 C higher. If Comfort is set lower than Economy, the thermostat will automatically decrease the Economy temperature 2 C lower.
Why is my Economy temperature higher than my Comfort temperature?
- 1f the Economy temperature is set higher, the thermostat is in Cool Mode. You can check if the thermostat is in Cool Mode by looking for a snowflake icon in the top left corner of the screen. By switching the thermostat to Heating Mode, the Economy temperature will be set lower than the Comfort temperature.
- You can switch the Heating Mode by pressing and holding the § and@ buttons to enter the thermostat menu. Press ~ on the system mode screen, then use the @ or@ button to switch to Heat (‘He’) Mode. Press@ to confirm, then press § to save and exit. The thermostat screen should now show the Heat Mode icon in the top left. If you are using this thermostat with a heating product, it should always be left in Heat Mode
