APPLICATION AND USE INSTRUCTIONS

Product Application Test product is prior to use

1.  Peel the back edge of Carpet Shield and begin to unroll. Press down the edge at beginning of the area to be covered so Carpet Shield adheres.
2.  Continue unrolling onto the carpet, applying pressure, and smoothing down the film while doing so.
3.  Cut end with a sharp edge. When finished, fold the edge of the film back against the roll to use at a later time.
4.  Removal: roll up the Carpet Shield and discard it.

Caution!

•  Failure to comply with the following instructions will void the warranty.

•  Do not apply to any surface other than carpet.

•  Always test Carpet Shield on a small portion of the carpet that is in a non-exposed area.

•  The 48-hour test is required for use over adhesive installations.

•  For temporary use only – remove or replace with new Carpet Shield
  after 30 days.• (Refer to Product Information below.)

•  Apply only to dry carpet.

•  Do not use it under damp conditions.

•  Carpet Shield” is for carpeted surfaces only, do not apply to any other surface or allow Carpet Shield” to love ap beyond the carpeted area or onto hard surfaces like wood or tile
•  Use only on completely dry carpeting. If carpeting was recently cleaned allow for at least% hours for carpeting to dry and cle.:ming ts to dissipate
•  For any newly iristalled rarpeting do not use Carpet Shield” for a! least 72 hours to allow adhesive vapors to dissipate completely through the padding and the carpet
•  If subjected to extreme conditions of temperatures ex<EE<ling 95° F, direct sunlight, heavy foot llaffic or ootdoor exposure, it is recommended C.rpetShield”film be inspected and replaced with new material mme frequently and as needed
•  Do not use in extreme humidity conditions or high moisture areas like basement5
•  Use on synthetic carpet fibers only. NOT for use on oriental carpets, wool carpeting, or natural fibers.
•  Carpet Shield• is for temporary protection for up to 30 days, REMOVE ON 30TH DAY or sooner

Product Storage Guidelines

For best performance, ance store at mom tempera! ure and out of direct sunlight exposure. Carpet Shield• is stored in extreme conditions (over 95° For below 40″ F), allowing the product to return to mom temperature and always testing before use. Not recommended for use after three months of purchase date.

Before using, the purchaser and/or user must determine the suitability of this product for the intended user and the purchaser and/or user assumes all risks and liabilities in connection therewith. The sole obligation of the manufacturer, distributor, and/or seller of this product shall be the replacement of the Carpet Shield” product if notified of any product defect within three months of the date of purchase. Such quantity of the product deemed defective shall be replaced or the amount of the purchase refunded and there shall be no liability to injury, loss or damages, either direct or consequential, arising out of the use or inability to use th product The company diS<laims all oral warranties of any ijnd.
