SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The appliance is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
  2. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  3. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges.
  4. Do not place the scale under wet, hot & cold conditions.
  5. The product is a high precision electronic weighing apparatus. Therefore, do not drop otherwise the scale can be easily damaged.
  6. WARNING: Do not use the appliance if the appliance has fallen or been damaged. Never try to repair the appliance by yourself. Bring it to the authorized service station for repair.
  7. In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
  8. WARNING: Do not allow small children to play with the foil. Danger of suffocation!
  9. Do not let children play with the appliance.
  10. When the display shows “Lo” it is indicated that the battery power is very low. Please replace the batteries. Low battery power or defective batteries may cause inaccurate results or other errors.
  11. Use the appliance only on a stable, flat and dry surface.
  12. The max. weight the scale can handle is 5000g
  13. Avoid excessive impact or vibration on the appliance.
  14. If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time, remove the batteries before storage to avoid a fluid leakage.

FIRST USE OF THE APPLIANCE

INSERTING BATTERIES:

  1. Open the battery case at the bottom of the scale.
  2. Insert 2 AAA batteries (included in packaging) into the battery compartment at the bottom part of the scale with the correct polarity.
  3. Select the desired unit of measurement in gr, lb oz, ml, fl.oz by pressing the “UNIT” button.

USING THE APPLIANCE

  1. Press “ON /TARE” button to switch on the scale. LCD screen will turn on and the display will show “O” after 2 seconds.
  2. Place the container to be weighed on the weighing platform and the LCD screen will display the weight of the item.
  3. Press “ON/ TARE” button and “O” (zero) will appear on the LCD screen. This way you reset the weight of the container. Then add food or liquid to the container and the weight of the food will appear on the screen (without the weight of the container).
  4. Press the “ON / TARE” button again to turn off the appliance.

ERROR DISPLAY INTRODUCTION:

  1. When the screen shows “Lo”, it means that there is a power shortage, please change the batteries as soon as possible.
  2. When the scale is over loaded, the “O-Ld” will appear on the display.

CLEANING

  1. Always remove the batteries before cleaning.
  2. CAUTION: Do not immerse the scale in water: the electronic components can be damaged.
  3. Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
  4. Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
  5. Clean the device with a slightly moist cloth. Make sure that no humidity or waters seeps into the device!
  6. Use a commercially sold detergent or soap for cleaning.
  7. Dry the device well after cleaning with a dry and soft cloth.

STORAGE

  1. Always remove batteries if you are not going to use the appliance for long period.
  2. Keep the appliance in a clean, dry place.
