Installation Guide

What You Will Need
- Standard Phillips head screwdriver
- 4 AA alkaline batteries
- Single cylinder deadbolt
- Perform a door alignment check. Close your door and manually turn your thumbturn lever locked and then unlocked. If you can do this without asserting pressure on the door to align the deadbolt into the doorframe, your door is aligned. If not, your door is misaligned and will need to be realigned for optimal performance. Common causes for misalignment include: strike plate being off-center, worn-down weather stripping, or off-center hinges.
Note: Exterior Touch only works with non-metal doors. All other features work on metal doors.
