Transmitter x4, quad-channel receiver xl, audio cable xl, CN-20 conversion cable xl, lavalier microphone x4, shoe-mounted connector x1, recharging cable, and user manual
Start using
-
Connect the microphone to the MC socket of the transmitter, make sure it is fully plugged in and securely locked. As shown below:
-
Connect the OUT socket of the receiver with the MIC IN socket of the SLR camera or video camera by using the 3.5mm audio connection cable. If to connect the receiver with cell phone, please use the CN-20 conversion cable as well.
-
Turn on the transmitter and receiver, the receiver will connect with the transmitter immediately. The information displayed on the receiver will indicate the connecting status of each channel. As shown below: If the connection failed, press the power button and setting button of the transmitter (when it is powered off) at the same time for 3 seconds, the display panel of the transmitter starts to flash (under ID matching mode); then turn on the receiver, the signal bar of each channel on the display panel of receiver starts to flash (under ID matching mode). And then restart both transmitter and receiver after 3 seconds.
-
The transmitter is with volume control function. Turn on the transmitter, short press the power switch to enter the volume interface, then press the channel button can adjust the volume accordingly. The volume can be adjusted from U00—U10 with 11 levels in total, U10 is the maximum volume.
-
Turn on the “LCF” function of the transmitter as needed to significantly improve the ambient low frequency and wind noise. As shown below:
-
If it gets interference by other wireless signals while using, simply change the channel of the transmitter, and the receiver will automatically track and connect.
-
Please follow the below setup steps in order to use two sets simultaneously:
Step 1
Turn off theist set of the device (both transmitter and receiver)
Step 2
Press the power button and setting button of the transmitter (from the 2nd set) at the same time for 3 seconds, the display panel of the transmitter starts to flash (under ID matching mode), configurate the rest transmitters from the same set as above; then turn on the receiver (from the 2nd set), the signal bar of each channel on the display panel of receiver starts to flash (under ID matching mode), the receiver will automatically connect with the transmitter and reconfigure its ID code in 3 seconds. And then turn off the 2nd set (both transmitter and receiver).
Turn on all the transmitters and receivers from the 2nd set, and check the connecting status of each channel on the information display of the receiver.
If there is a channel unconnected, then repeat the above operation till all are successfully connected. Once the configuration is completed, turn on the devices and start to use. Make sure not to use the same frequencies, if it gets interference, please change the transmitter to a different channel. -
To use on the camera, the receiver should be first mounted with a shoe mount connector to facilitate fixing on the camera. Press the metal buckle during installation and push the shoe mount connector in (as pic. 1 shown); when removing, press the PUSH button of the shoe mount connector and push out at the same time (as pic. 2 shown)
Troubleshooting
No signal connection between receiver and transmitter, or connection failed|
The distance is beyond the operating range, please shorten the operating
range; Outdoor effective operating range is 50 meters, in case of shelter or
indoor use, the distance will be reduced accordingly
---|---
If it gets interference, please change the transmitter to a different channel
Re-matching ID: For details please refer to sections 3 and chapter 5 of this
manual
The audio signal is distorted when speaking loudly| As the lavalier microphone
is with a high-sensitivity capsule, please adjust the distance between the
microphone and the sound source
Lower the volume of the transmitter to reduce the distortion
No sound / small sound| Connect headphones to monitor and first determine the
possible range of the fault, and then check the following possible situations:
1. Check if the transmitter microphone plug is fully inserted into the socket
and locked
2. Check if the audio cable is properly connected and fully inserted into the
socket
3. Check on the microphone volume and permission settings of the recording
device
4. Check if the transmitter is set at minimum volume, adjust the volume to
solve the problem
Short operating distance| The distance can be affected by the buildings that
block the transmitter and receiver
The antenna of the transmitter and receiver should not be covered by objects,
in order to facilitate signal transmission.
In a crowded environment, the human body will attenuate the radio waves,
please make sure the transmitter and receiver are not blocked
Short operating distance| If it gets interference, please change the
transmission to a different channel
---|---
If the two or more transmitters are placed too close, it will shorten the
operating range. Please make sure they are placed with a distance of at least
0.5m.
If one transmitter is too close to the receiver, which will affect the
operating distance of the rest far ones
Short battery life| Exceeding the specified operating temperature will affect
the Li battery performance
The battery performance will decrease after more than 500 charging cycles.
Please replace them with fresh batteries.
Wind noise| Check whether the microphone windscreen is put on
Do not use the microphone in the windward position or in front of the fan
Cell phone interference noise| While recording by cell phone, please set the
phone at flight mode to avoid interference noise
Other noise| When the transmitter or receiver is undercharging, it may be
affected by electric signals and generate noise.
Noise generated by interference from other radio equipment, please change the
transmission to a different channel
Interfered by high-powered electrical equipment, such as induction cooktops,
microwave ovens, distribution boxes, etc., please keep away from this
equipment
When using it near a computer or 220 V cable, it may be affected by internet
and electric signal and generate noise. Please keep away from these
facilities.
Precautions
