  2. In PRESET mode, use the A/B/C function to pin to select the factory tone or the user saves the tone. Unlimited switching between preset three sets of tones, with the staple indicator for the selected tone flashing.

How to edit a tone

  1. Power-on initialization; when the built-in battery is fully charged or the power supply USB cable is connected, please turn off the power switch . At this time, the parameter button turns on from left to right and then from right to left to self-test . After the host self-test is completed, the system defaults to the PRESET mode. The tone on the current A / B / C pedal become the factory tone.

  2. Press the B and C pedals at the same time to switch to LIVE mode. Then, please check whether all the parameter buttons are turned off.Turn the VOLUME to the appropriate level, and the output volume should not be too high, that will avoid damage to the connected speaker equipment.

  3. To start editing the tone, press the C foot switch to open the become tone module, and set the TYPE button to the 7th position (please refer to the become data sheet for item 1 of question 4 in this guide) and select the distorted tone named Cali JP B . Next, turn the GAIN distortion gain button to the 3 o’clock position, and select the brightness of the tone you want.
I set the TONE parameter to the 12 o’clock position of the clock (the users can evaluates the distortion gain and tone brightness parameters that needed).

  4. Next, we step on the B foot switch to turn on the MOD and DELAY modules. Because I expected to adjust a relatively pure distortion SOLO tone, I did not consider the effect of using MOD. Please turn the MOD knob to the clock at 12 o’clock. The MOD effect is turned off, and the knob indicator is turned off. Then turn the MIX button to turn on the DELAY effect. Turn the MIX knob to the 9 o’clock position, the FB knob to the 11 o’clock position, and the TIME button to the 2 o’clock position. I need this tone with sufficient delay effect so that I can play more smoothly with slower phrases.

  5. Next we will on the A pedal to turn on the REVERB and IR CAB modules. Please adjust REVERB to the 11 o’clock position to make this tone reflect more space. Then I moved the IR CAB knob to the seventh position, and I chose a Soldano 2X12 cabinet.

  6. Next we need to adjust the output volume of the edited tone. I set the VOLUME knob to the 1-point position of the clock. (It is recommended that you set the output volume value of the VOLUME knob according to your needs)

  7. When it is determined that the tone has been edited and the output volume is adjusted, we can save the edited tone in the PRESET mode, so that we can call the edited tone at any time when playing. Please select the stud positions you want to store (this effect supports the storage of three tones, which, the A / B / C stud positions in the preset mode). Here I choose the A stud positions and long A stepping on the nail, the prompt of A stepping on the foot switch will flash quickly, indicating that the tone is being stored, until the flashing stops, and the tone has been stored.

  8. At this time, the tone that was just edited has been successfully stored in the PRESET mode, covering the tone preset by the factory in the A-stamp. We stepped on the B and C at the same time to switch from the LIVE mode to the PRESET mode. Step on the A pedal to find the Cali .1P B distortion solo sound you Just saved.
