INITIAL OPERATION

  1. Connect the power supply or batteries to the indoor unit. Once you plug in the power supply, all the icons on the LCD screen will light up for 3 seconds and a continuous sound will be heard indicating the detection of internal temperature and humidity. When the weather station is powered by the power supply adapter, the backlight brightness is set continuously to the highest level.
  2. Remove wireless outdoor sensor battery cover and insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) with the right polarity [“+” and “-“]. Push the channel selector switch to set the correct channel. You can select the unit of measurement by pressing the “°C / °F” button.
  3. Push “TX” button of the outdoor wireless sensor. The weather station will then be connected to the wireless external sensor. The process will take about 3 minutes. During the connection, the RF icon “:!I” will start flashing on the indoor unit screen.
  4. Once the connection to the external wireless sensor is completed, then the device starts working on normal time mode.

NOTE: The battery is a backup power supply of the base station, in case the power adapter is unexpectedly cut off.

SETTINGS

  1. Push and hold the “SET” button for 2 seconds the 12/24 hour mode display will start to flash. Now use the “+” and”-” buttons to set the correct 12/24 hour mode.
  2. Push “SET” to confirm your setting, the Hour display will start to flash. Now use the “+” and”-” buttons to set the correct hour.
  3. Push “SET” to confirm your setting, the Minute display will start to flash. Now use the “+” and”-” buttons to set the correct minute.
  4. Push the “SET” button to confirm your setting, the Month and Date display will start to flash. Now use “+” and”-” buttons to set the date display either as Month/Date or Date/Month.
  5. Push the “SET” button to confirm your setting, the Year display will start to flash. Now use the “+” and”-” buttons to set the correct year.
  6. Push the “SET” button to confirm your setting, the Month display will start to flash. Now use the “+” and”-” buttons to set the correct month.
  7. Push the “SET” button to confirm your setting, the Date display will start to flash. Now use the “+” and”-” buttons to set the correct date.
  8. Push the “SET” button to confirm your setting, the language selection for the Weekday display will start to flash. Now use”+” and”-” buttons to select a language.

  9. Push the “SET” button to confirm your setting, the weather forecast display will start to flash. Now use the “+” and”-” buttons to set the correct weather forecast icon (see table below).
  10. Push “SET” to confirm your setting, the barometric pressure unit symbol will start to flash. Now use the “+” and”-” buttons to set the desired barometric pressure unit (MB/hPa).
  11. Push “SET” to confirm your setting, the barometric pressure value will start to flash. Now use the “+” and”-” buttons to set the barometric pressure value.
  12. Push “SET” to confirm your setting and then finish the setting procedures, by entering the clock mode.

NOTE: Alter 20 seconds without pressing any button, the clock switches automatically from Set Mode to Normal Time Mode.

ALARM SETTING

Follow the below steps to set the daily alarm:

  1. Push the “ALARM” button once to enter the alarm setting mode (the Al indicator appears on the indoor unit screen). Press the “ALARM” button again to set a second (A2) and third alarm (A3) respectively.
  2. Press and hold the “ALARM” button for 3 seconds until the Alarm Time hour display starts to flash (Al).
  3. Use the”+” and”-” buttons to set the required hour.
  4. Press the “ALARM” button to confirm your setting, and the Minute display (for Al) starts to flash. Use the “+” and”-” buttons to set the minute.
  5. Press the “ALARM” button to confirm your setting, and the Alarm Time hour display starts to flash (A2). Use the”+” and”-” buttons to set the required hour.
  6. Press the “ALARM” button to confirm your setting, and the Minute display (for A2) starts to flash. Use the “+”and”-” buttons to set the minute.
  7. Press the “ALARM” button to confirm your setting and finish the setting procedure.

NOTE:

  • After 20 seconds without pushing any button the clock switches automatically from setting mode to normal clock mode.
  • The alarm will sound for 2 minutes if you do not deactivate it by pushing any button. In this case the alarm will be repeated automatically after 24 hours.
  • Rising alarm sound (crescendo, duration: 2 minutes) changes the volume 4 times while the alarm signal is heard.
  • While the alarm is ringing, press any key except the “SNOOZE”/ LIGHT” button to turn off the alarm.

SNOOZE FUNCTION

  1. While the alarm is ringing, touch the “SNOOZE”/ LIGHT” button once to activate the snooze function. With the snooze function, the alarm is postponed for 8 minutes, at which point the ringing will be repeated.
  2. When snooze mode is enabled, press any button except the “SNOOZE”/ LIGHT” button or touch the “SNOOZE”/ LIGHT” button for at least 3 seconds to exit the snooze mode.

OUTDOOR SENSOR TRANSMISSION

  1. When the base station successfully receives signals from the wireless sensor, the outdoor temperature and humidity are displayed on the LCD display of the base station.
  2. The base station can be connected up to max. 3 wireless channel sensors. Each wireless sensor must emit in a different channel.
  3. If the Base Station fails to receive transmission from outdoor sensor(“- -“display on the LCD), push “CH” button to select the desired channel manually and the corresponding channel indicator icon will start to flash to the screen. Press and hold “CH” button for 3 seconds. The RF antenna symbol ” “will flash and the indoor unit will receive the external sensor signal again.

MAXIMUM / MINIMUM TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY

To toggle indoor/outdoor maximum, minimum temperature and humidity data, push the “MEM” button:

  1. Once to show the maximum temperature and humidity values.
  2. Twice to sow the minimum temperature and humidity values.
  3. Three times to return to the current temperature and humidity levels.
  4. To reset the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity, push and hold down the “MEMORY” button about 3seconds. This will reset all minimum and maximum data recorded to the current displayed values. Otherwise the data are automatically deleted daily at 00:00.

NOTE: If the temperature reading is below ranges, the “LL.L” will be displayed. If the temperature reading is above ranges, the “HH.H” will be displayed.
FROST ALERT
If the frost alarm alert is activated, the “! ” icon will start to flash on the display. The alarm signal sounds at -1 °C to + 3°C or +30.2°F to + 37.4°F
WEATHER FORECAST
Weather forecast icons that may be displayed on the base station are shown below (table). The weather symbols indicate the weather forecast over the next 8 hours and not the current weather conditions.

NOTE:

  • Please note the weather forecast from your local weather forecasting service into account as well as the forecast from your weather station. If there are discrepancies between the information from your device and from the local weather forecasting service, please take the advice of the latter as authoritative.
  • The weather forecast is based on the evaluation of fluctuations in the barometric pressure and may deviate from the actual weather conditions.

COMFORT LEVEL

  • Dry atmosphere (when the humidity is below 40%.)
  • Comfort atmosphere level (when the temperature is between 20~28″C and the humidity between 40~70%)
  • Wet atmosphere (when the humidity is above 70%)

NOTE: When the humidity level is between 40-70% and the temperature is not between 20°C -28″C, the comfort level icon will not appear.

READING THE BAROMETRIC PRESSURE FOR THE LAST 6-12 HOURS:
You may see the following displays:

  • The barometric pressure tends to increase.
  • The barometric pressure tends to decrease.
    NOTE: When no barometric pressure indicator is displayed, it means that the barometric pressure tends to remain constant.

BACKGROUND LIGHTING

  1. If the weather station is powered by the power supply adapter, the backlight brightness will be set continuously to the highest level. Press the “SET” button to select the desired brightness level (3 levels available).
