Config Repeater Mode
Repeater Mode: Connect your devices to the Repeater wirelessly or via an Ethernet cable, then enjoy the internet.

1 Power On
Plug the Repeater into a power outlet next to your router.

2 Set Up
Method 1: Via a Web Browser

  1.  Connect your computer or smartphone to the Repeater’s network: PIX-LINK-2.46/PIX-LINK-5.8G, Default Password is 12345678. If youare using a computer, unplug the Ethernet cable if any. The default wireless name can be viewed on the bottom label of the repeater.
  2.  Launch a web browser, and enter http://192.168.7.1 or set up. pix-link. net in the address bar. Then enter password: admin to log in. Note: If the login window does not appear, refer to FAQ> Q1.
  3.  Follow web instructions to complete the setup.
    •  Click Repeater Mode.
    •  The system will automatically scans the surrounding wireless networks.

Select the SSID of the master router and enter Repeater SSID and the Pass Phrase. The default Repeater SSID is set to be xxxx-2.4G-EXT / xxxx-5.8G-EXT (xxxx indicates The master router’s wireless network name). Then click Apply to complete setup.
Note : The Pass Phrase is the same as your master router

The Repeater LED should turn solid on, indicating a successful connection to your router.
Note: If the LED does not turn solid on, refer to FAQ> Q2. Connect your devices to the Repeater wirelessly or via an Ethernet cable, then enjoy the internet.

3 Relocate
Plugin the Repeater about halfway between your router and the Wi-Fi dead zone. The location you choose must be within the range of your router.. Wait for about 2 minutes until the Signal LED turns solid blue. If it doesn’t, relocate the Repeater closer to the router to achieve better signal quality.
Method 2: Via the WPS Button

  1.  Press the WPS button on your router
  2. Within 2 minutes, press the wPS button on the Repeater for 1 second. The Repeater LED should change from blinking to solid on, indicating a successful connection. Note: If the Repeater LED does not turn solid on, try again or use Method 1 or 2.

Config AP Mode
AP Mode: Traditional wired router realizes wireless function: This the repeater can connect to uplink router’s LAN port by wired connection, convert wired signals to wireless signals, the user terminal can connect to this router by wireless connection.

2 Set Up
Method 1: Via a Web Browser Connect your computer or smartphone to the Repeater’s network: PIX-LINK-2.46/PIX-LINK-5.86, Default Password is 12345678. If you are using a computer, unplug the Ethernet cable if any. The default wireless name can be viewed on the bottom label of the repeater.

  •  Follow web instructions to complete the setup.
  •  Click AP Mode.
  •  Enter SSID and Pass Phrase, and click apply to complete the Settings. AP Mode

  • connects the Repeater to the Lan port of your router with an Ethernet cable.
  •  Connect your devices to the Repeater wirelessly, then enjoy the internet.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. Unable to access the administration page?
    Please make more detailed checks as follows: Ensure your computer gets the address automatically. Ensure your computer is connected to the router’s LAN port withthe cable,and the network indicators on both sides are lit. Please Launch Internet Explorer Browser, select “tools” “Internet options”, ensure the connection tab is configured to never dial, and all options are not checked under “LAN Settings”.Please relaunch your browser or try another browser (such as  firefox or chrome). Please replace the network cable, or replace another computer and try again. Please reset the device factory default and repeat the above steps again if the issue still exists.

  2.   What should I do if the Repeater LED doesn’t turn solid on after completing the setup via the WPS or web browser?
    You may have entered incorrect Wi-Fi passwords for your host networks during the configuration. Check the passwords and try again. Make sure the Repeater is close to your router, preferably within 10 feet, and away from large electrical appliances.If you have enabled wireless MAC filtering, wireless access control, or access control list (ACL) on your router, disable them first, then follow any method on the front page to complete the configuration. Reset the Repeater and go through the configuration again.

  3. The Internet still cannot be accessed after completing the configuration?
    Please make more detailed checks as following: Ensure the repeater’s network cable is properly connected and both LAN port’s network indicators are lit.

  4. The cell phone, tablet or laptop cannot associate to the WIFI network?
    Please make more detailed checks as following: Ensure the WIFI function on the mobile device works normally, for example, the WIFI switch is turned on, and the wireless signal can be scanned. Ensure the router is set up correctly. Please make sure that the wireless name selected and the wireless Pass Phrase entered are correct (case sensitive) when establishing the wireless association. Please reset the device factory default and repeater the above steps again if the issue still exists.

  5. How to restore the device to the factory default?
    Press and hold the button more than 5s System set factory default,

How do I know if the Repeater is working?

 If the LED indicator is green, it indicates that the Repeater is working normally. If it is red, please check the connection. If it is flashing, please check if there is a problem in the network.

How do I connect my devices to the Repeater?

The LED indicators on the front panel of your repeater are as follows: Power (Green) : Indicates that power has been supplied to your repeater and it is working normally; Internet (Green) : Indicates that your internet connection has been established; Wireless (Green) : Indicates that wireless connections have been established; LAN (Green) : Indicates that Ethernet connections have been established; WPS (Green) : Indicates that WPS connections have been established; WiFi (Green) : Indicates that WiFi connections have been established; 5G (Blue): Indicates that 5G connections have been established; 2G (Blue): Indicates that 2G connections have been established; 2nd WiFi (Blue): Indicates that 2nd WiFi connections have been established; 5G AP (Blue): Indicates that 5G AP connections have been established; 2G AP (Blue): Indicates that 2G AP connections have been established; WLAN 1~4(Blue):Indicates that WLAN 1~4 connections have been established; Repeater Mode(Blue):Indicates that Repeater Mode has been activated successfully; System Status(Blue):Indicates system status information such as system IP address, current date and time and so on.
